It's so random. 3 times I've gotten to level 3 and was blocked by an impassable situation.
Twice that happened on level 4.

So it's a matter of luck than anything. So Sirius GPP.

I somehow made it to level 7 when I only needed to get to level 5. Hope some of my luck wears off on the rest of you hardened Wootaholics.

I think I know the joke but need confirmation from someone who gets their Big o' Cosmos somewhere in the late stages of this event. Click "I want one", get the game, complete the required level... then what happens? I had already won my Big o' Cosmos on level 1 but did not realize it until it was on level 3. While on level 2, I completed level 3 of the game and it just kept going. No button... no "you can't have 2"... nothing.

Anyway... in for my Big o' Cosmos! Thanks WOOT!

Last night I beat level 3 and it didn't process any order for me! It just kept asking me to play again! I was a little bummed out, because it seems there were server issues all night. C'mon Woot! whats the deal? My first Big o' Cosmos and I didn't get a chance to win because of some glitch. Of course I wake up this morning and its at level 6!

i got to the order screen twice but had the server crash on me both times waiting for the ridiculously large button.

then again when the bag was level 3 i beat level 3 and got nothin.

Well, I am not going to waste my time playing a game in order to spend money. I will come back in 3 or 4 hours and see if this stupidity is over.

I tried several times and kept getting double blocked. Was on level 4 and level 5 at different times trying to get it, but towards the end I was getting double blocks on the first level. Somewhere in the last half hour it went from 'neat!' to 'meh'.

After hours I quit...I think if every few thousand customers got the bag and got to bypass the game it would intrigue more people to at least press the button, but for us of with jobs I give up on.the crap...I won't say ill boycott woot forever but at least a week and teefury shirts are way better so sorry woot you lost a longtime customer today...well for a week at least I don't need any computers or bog screen tvs which I'm sure will be all ya got for us this week anyway

Seriously... I've been playing for an hour and a half and _consistently_ get double blocked by level 4 or 5. Sometimes on level 1! And I've had scores well over 100,000, but I have to _work_ today sometime... Worst Woot Ever. I love the theoretical opportunity to get a Big o' Cosmos, but this is costing me _WAY_ more than $8...

UGH it keeps throwing two things at me at once and its impossible to get past it. DRAT!

This game is crap.

I am just going to add my complaint because I have invested 3 hours into this to no avail. I am tired and I give up. I am not griping about how difficult it is, but the fact that I already beat the Level 2, 3 and 4 challenges but did not receive any Big o' Cosmos due to some bug.

Completed the level challenge, died, waited and saw screen with an error message. No big deal, I thought, I'll play again. Same thing over and over. Tried IE instead of usual Firefox. Same thing. This happened until it hit the level 5 challenge and the game wouldn't load at all. Started again @ this level and 2 hours later I have nothing.

I guess I have to resign myself to the reality that I do not have the diligence to ever attain a Big o' Cosmos (even though I did). This is the first time woot has disappointed me. "Big o' Cosmos." now means "Blow Off Curtis", or more broadly "Blow Off Customers". Goodlater.

this game is Agrajag's life. It is not designed for you to win. Why would I sit here and keep playing this, on a work day, over and over only to get to a point in the game where it is impossible to win.
When you temper in the frustration of video games, you get a angry wooter that is thinking of never coming back.

I like the concept of playing a game. But don't waste my time going through levels 1-3 just to get double blocked and suffer a mandatory death.

For those who may just be starting...

1) When you get to the end of level 4 you are PARACHUTED back to level 1. This is ACTUALLY LEVEL 5, don't stop thinking you died keep going.

2) Sometimes you are double blocked, other times you can squeeze by when it appears double blocked. Objects like the billboard an fallen truck allow you to go down early 'behind' them.

3) Yes its part luck, that's what the Big o' Cosmos has always been. At least this way if you try long enough (took me about 40 minutes) you will likely get one. More fair IMO.
