There was one 30 minutes ago but I am thinking he accidently left it out.

I think he was refering to the partner. But on your point, we may not be using walkmans, but we are using blu-ray.

That is why I check to see what he had to say on the item.

I got my refurb when it was on sellout.woot.com last month. I've been using it for about a week and really like it. In fact, my wife asked (only sort of jokingly) if I'd get her one, too.
The majority of the negative reviews focus on comparing this with a pad or netbook, where it will always fail. If you start from alarm clock and then add up all the extra features, you won't be disappointed. I bought mine to replace a $150+ Ambient Mist weather clock that works some of the time and gets weak support from Ambient. It already blows away that clock with the basic installed apps. Add Pandora, Slacker, Netflix, flickr and more to that and you've got a very powerful alarm clock.
It would be nice to have a battery backup so you don't lose your alarm when the power fails, but otherwise I couldn't be more pleased.
Note: your refurb unit probably won't be wiped (mine wasn't) so you'll start out with someone else's apps including their Netflix queue if they enabled it. Just reset the device under settings and start from scratch.
Also, if you have an account on any other Sony site, your account information will not transfer to the Dash site but your new user registration will fail if you don't use the same password as the other sites. Seems dumb but hopefully you can avoid the 20-minute tech support call I had to make right after turning on the device the first time.

Mine came in today, I bought it for my brother for his birthday about a month or so away. I wanted to test it out to make sure it works ok and well I'm not giving it to him lol I really like it, the only problem I have is that its really laggy but for the price its good. For me it would have been worth an extra $30 or so to have a battery and use it as a mobile device but oh well I just wish I bought 2 of them
I hope you sell this again soon Woot!
