Supply the dialog. You don't have to do it in the picture itself (but you can). Just type it up.

M for the man and W for the woman would be handy.

Keep it clean. I have a delete button and I'm not afraid to use it!

W: DONNY! You promised me a Roomba!!
M: Chill Baby. It'll be here before you know it. It's coming SmartPost!

This item has about as much appeal as a LIVESTRONG chamberpot.

In for one.

lol While I honestly appreciate the humor of some of the others, I don't think they quite realize just how handy these can be. I've used something very similar to go on job interviews in the past. Especially for a woman, you don't want to drag in a purse and loose resumes plus anything else you might need. These look reasonably professional without carrying around an actual briefcase.
I think you're on the right track there. :-)

Actually, I had my girlfriend's dad introduce me to the Franklin Covey system about eight years ago. I had the same impression as most of you, until he walked me through the simple, but extremely effective system.

Honestly, when I started using it, my productivity sky-rocketed and I started finishing major site launches that would have normally taken me a couple months from start to finish in a couple weeks.

In my opinion, Franklin Covey really is the best planning system out there. Even with the 37 Signals' software my company uses for all of our employees, contractors, and interns, I still really prefer this.

Also, Franklin Covey planners are usually wwwaaaaaaaaay more expensive than this.

I'm definitely in for at least one.

Maybe... However, it has/is a ring binder. You might be able to gut it without tearing it up. If so, there would be plenty of space for padding. It is pretty thick.

My name is Thomas Veil, or at least it was. I'm a chronographer. I had it all: a wife, Alyson; friends; a career. And in one moment it was all taken away, all because of a single day planner. I have it; they want it; and they will do anything to get the supply refills. I'm keeping this diary as proof that these events are real. I know they are; they... have to be.

So much hate in here! I've actually been considering getting another planner as it would be extremely useful at work. I've used Franklin Covey before and loved it. I just haven't wanted to drop $50 on a decent monarch sized planner (without any starter kit stuff in it).

And before you ask, I'm 24 and work in marketing not 60 working in finance.

As for use, I'm much more efficient at organizing on paper than on my iphone or ipad or whatever, maybe it's just habit.

Skanning wrote:I'd be concerned about securing refills... but in comparison to Levenger's items like this, this is a steal...just wonder about the refills...anybody know? How common IS this brand???

Very Common! I have used Franklin Planners for over 20 years. I currently used the size smaller than this one but I just wooted for this "monarch" size. You can't beat this price as they are upwards of $100 for leather!
I have found the refills at Staples, Office Depot and have even seen a few at Target. I also order them online thru Franklin Covey. Franklin Covey also has retail stores out there too! If you like having the "old fashioned" type organzer/planner like I do you will definiately like this one.

Hi everyone, I was in the process of buying this and once I clicked to finalize the sale, I got an error message (sold out). Is there anything I could do? This was going to be shipped to my g/f's mom's house which we'll be vacationing at for her bday. Thanks in advance.
