I say we call this, and every, woot-off the opposite of winning; "Failing".

Very bored with this woot-off. Probably best for my wallet though.

Bah. I don't have the money for that. Maybe my Big o' Cosmos will contain it.

Much as I love a good Woot-Off, I hope this one ends soon. I have to be offline this afternoon and can't bear the thought of missing something!

The hard drive will definitely not work with the newest generation of Xbox 360s.

The Mic should still work however.

Comes with an Ethernet Connectivity Cable. I'll wait for two of them in the next deal.

I think it would need to come with more than a 3 month subscription to make this worthwhile.

I'm pretty sure this the same nerdware Leeroy Jenkins uses.

At least he has chicken.

While ya get the nifty headset and some xbox cash for online gaming, this doesn't make me regret my December xbox 250g woot....

if you don't mind cracking the case open, sure. buy three, set up RAID5. you will get 120GB* of fault-tolerant storage.

*usual disclaimer about how the industry decided to measure capacity in a way at odds with every single filesystem ever created.

Actually, you could disassemble the enclosure this drive comes in and plug the bare drive into the newer 360 S console (it uses a standard SATA connector).

Of course, an official 250 GB drive can be had for $40 more than this woot, so I'm not sure why you'd bother.

I wish I had woken up early enough (or stayed up late enough) to get one of the 250GB drives. I was thrilled to find the 120GB drives being discontinued at a local retail outlet for just under the Woot price for the 250GB. :P

If you want a much larger hard drive for not that much more, you can get this: http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Hard-Drive-250GB-Slim/dp/B003C1VPEY/ref=sr_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1302104191&sr=1-3

Wow...a hard drive for the old style console at the same price as the $120GB HDD normally. What a deal!

How can I tell if I have the newest generation? My son was disappointed to learn he needed a hard drive to play Halo Reach multi-player. We already have a 1 yr xbox live account so I was considering getting this for the hard drive.

I've only got 3GB left on my 20, so this will be a welcome upgrade. I regret that I missed out on the 250GB a few months back, but I will settle for a 60GB and some Gold membership status for a few months.
