Microsoft doesn't want you to know that this hard drive can be taken apart and used in the new slim model XBox 360 with zero problems. The new XBox slim has just the standard SATA interface, and that's what the bare drive inside this thing is.

Maybe if the old 360's weren't pieces of Battlefield Earth (2000) and Microsoft didn't refuse to fix them I would have bought this... Oh well, life is more fun without video games.

The new 360 S console has a glossy piano black finish, and lacks the memory unit slots in the front. The older 360 console includes two memory unit slots, a removable faceplate, and the hard drive is mounted externally on the top (if vertical) or left side (if horizontal).
