It wasn't that I really preferred it, but rather that I had an awesome teacher that could bring the past to life. He was good at teaching 'most any subject, but he excelled at history and therefore taught it the best.

I hated english but I still got a perfect score on every test imaginable in the subject.

We taped the events of the school, edited "news" shows for homeroom, and put together a Video Yearbook.

Of Course, this was before everyone had access to a camera.......ie: mid 1980's
