for those that received theirs already (all two of you.....)
What states are you in? (no, not state of bliss, or denial.....)

These are shipping from woot in TX right? I guess everyone on the left and right coasts are last to get theirs.

Also in Texas, still no Nook. Where is this shipping from, I might as well just drive to the factory myself.

I ordered mine on 4/13...still nothing.

Woot sold $33K worth of these...you'd think they'd at least give us something for waiting!!!!!!!!!!

No tracking info from Fedex on mine either.

This is what Fedex says to do for no tracking info:

"If there are no scans for the tracking number entered, contact your shipper to verify the tracking number is correct. If you are the shipper, and it has been more than 24 hours since you dropped off the shipment or had the shipment picked up, please contact us at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339."

The number is for the shipper to call. Is this where the "one truck forgot to scan" information came from, or is that a guess/assumption?

That is our assumption right now. The FedEx reps are trying to figure out any specifics, and I'll update if it turns out to be a bigger problem. But right now, we're just assuming that they've let a truck go rogue without the appropriate scannanation.

So it is a bigger issue what steps could be taken? Would it be replacement Nooks? Even if we get refunded the price we paid, we won't be able to get a replacement NOOK as cheap and many of us bought cases and/or warranties (square trade) already. If I have to get a refurbished nook straight from B&N that's more money I didn't plan on spending.

I'm guessing it's not one truck going rogue; There are those in Texas who don't have shipping info and haven't received it yet, and I'm in Michigan and I'm in the same boat. It seems strange that the same truck would be delivering to both places.

I live in Texas as well and have not received my nook yet. I also ordered from another daily deal website on the same date and have not even received a tracking number. They also promise to ship within 3 to 5 business days. I think this is a bigger issue probably out of woot's control. I would still like some feedback and answers for who is responsible.

None in Ohio. Wanted it as an Easter gift. Figured even with 5 days to ship it would leave almost a week to travel.

I got this response I got from FedEx:
We regret that we are unable to complete your request as the tracking number (02927009713095065564) provided was not found or invalid. Please verify it with your shipper and email us back with the information. Please be advised that our FedEx Express tracking numbers are composed of 12 digits, while our FedEx Ground tracking numbers have 15 digits. They are the second and third set of numbers under the bar code.

So the number that Woot gave me is quite a bit longer than 15 digits.

That's an excellent question, but a bridge we'd have to cross when we get to it. Obviously, if FedEx has managed to lose all these, our first wish would be to reship them. It would then be a matter of trying to figure out if we have enough and/or how many could we get? It would royally suck to only be able to replace so many of them.

The second possibility is that they could have been mislabeled or otherwise mis-somethinged so FedEx would have to come back here and dump them off. In that scenario, we would reship and probably offer a lil somethin somethin for the trouble.

Whatever's happening, we'll make it right, we just have to figure out if it's a greater issue. My own personal, totally unbiased opinion: just a mis-scanning. (fingerscrossed)

Sorry, let me re-explain. It's the truck we filled full of Nooks that has mysteriously gone off the radar. So, the great majority of orders have the same non-tracking issue that we can trace back to this one truck that left our facilities- of this we're sure. Where that truck is and what's happened to the cargo is a mystery right now, but in the past when this has happened, it's just been an issue with the driver not scanning in the packages at the hub before they get distributed to the trucks that will set them on their magical journeys across the US.

Perhaps the majority, but not all. I doubt the truck from Dallas to Houston would be included in that, and I'm getting the same message.

Right, yeah, exactly- just the one filled with Nooks is MIA. There was some spill-over into other truck(s?) so some people will have tracking with no issues. It's just this one #*^@% truck.

I know Woot is doing what they can, but this is kind of frustrating. Not to scare everyone, but I ordered a Sandisk a few months ago that never shipped. I did get a refund without trouble, but I really wanted that Sandisk to go with my screaming monkey to prove my official wootitudeness. Sigh.

Sigh.....just got home and had my fingers crossed that my Nook would be there awaiting for me. I thought for certain it would be here before my Easter break. I sure was looking forward to having the next 4 days to play with my new toy.

I don't ever recall it taking so long to receive my Woot order. If it is being delivered by the postal service then I know it won't be here tomorrow either since I don't think the mail runs tomorrow. Grrrrr.

The US Postal Service should deliver mail tomorrow. Here is a list of their observed 2011 holidays:

FedEx Ground should also provide services tomorrow. Here is their 2011 holiday service schedule:

Thanks Woot. Appreciate your responses. So you loaded up the truck and some FedEx driver, sick of his/her job and ready to go "postal," decides to abscond with it and sell them all to finance his/her Caribbean cruise. Sigh. It sounds like you're doing everything you can and if anything, FedEx should be sending you a little somethin'.

I'm not going to bother posting a pic but here's the tracking info-

That does happen sporadically where a package or two gets lost among a thousand others. And sometimes, especially during Woot-Offs, we miscalculate the amount of stock left and have to email out some whoops & sorrys. But with something like this which is so clearly a bigger issue, it's not going to be something that we're going to be oblivious to like we would with a few unpredictable missing packages.

This no doubt sucks, and I'm not getting anything firm today, but I'll see if FedEx has more info tomorrow which I would expect. Someone else said they don't have Good Friday off and neither do we, so we're not going to let you stew over the weekend.

This is ridiculous. It reminds me of when I ordered a Maylong 150 Android tablet from Walgreens.com. I wasn't too surprised that Walgreens was unable to fulfill its shipping promises in a timely fashion, but I figured that a company that deals with One deal a day would be better prepared.

Dont know if it is good or not between the ordering and the shipping it vanished and no one can tell me where it is . Woot and Fed Ex are playing the "its thier Fault game" no one wants to own up to what happened.
