Does it come with an iphone?

Does it work as a remote for media playback on the PS3 or Xbox 360? The dedicated remotes for those things are already more than I'd pay for this sucker.

works only with devices that communicate with IR. so it wont work with a PS3, which connects with bluetooth. however it will work with the xbox 360

Would this be a good replacement for my Logitech Harmony (e.g. can I power and format multiple devices with one touch, or would I need to switch "remotes" one at a time)?

Does anyone know if it works with a Western Digital WDTV Live Hub?

I got this and hated it, so I returned it and got this universal remote instead. Srsly.

I've never used this one, but have the redeye mini version which has a lot more features. Used it in my bedroom which is where I charge my phone anyway. They work well as described, but having a remote that's a total touch screen means you always have to look to make sure you're hitting the right button. My biggest issue is they don't work when you have a case on since the jack is too short to cover the extra thickness of the case.

I paid $50 for the redeye, for $25 shipped it's not bad if the above issues don't bother you

Seriously, where are you going to put it when it is not working for a living? I'd like to lay bets on how many of these things go through the washer after having been forgotten in the pocket of someone's jeans.

I will have a remarkably easier time finding this small, small dongle than I would a traditional sized remote.

I got the redeye version with the added features with hopes of replacing my harmony 880, not even close

The harmony remotes are worth it, and make it tough to use anything else after you get used to it lol

Does anyone know how big this is? I have the Otterbox case for the 3GS, and I can't plug anything other than the first-party cable into the slot (there is a piece of plastic that is just a hair bigger than the first-party connector around the connection port).

Is there a way to enter raw infrared codes into the software instead of using the learning function, in case the original remote is unavailable? I'm talking about the actual hexadecimal codes the remote is supposed to send, not the 3-4 digit codes that are found in most universal remote manuals that correspond with a certain brand.

It works ok but on my iPad it's upside down unless someone can tell me how to turn it around when I aim it the remote is upside down on the screen

It plugs into your headphone jack to create an ir port, the app then turns your phone/iPod into a unerversal remote using that ir port

It's nice, but doesn't make a good replacement for a harmony or anything similar
