Hell NO!! I was in the Sprint store playing with it and it is sooo much faster than the TAB WIFI version. I love swype on it as well. I played with the XOOM too but Honeycomb feels so complicated! The tab is simple and elegant and a keeper!

Go to the Fedex website and track by reference number. Put in your order number in the reference number field. It should give you a rough idea of when it will show (give or take a day).

Last time I used woot, it came within a day of the date expected on Fedex.

I checked, it says Anticipated Ship Date 5/27/2011, and it shows that on 5/27/2011 the Shipment Information was sent to FedEx...so hopefully that means it is about to go out.

Yes, that is the number you can put in on the FedEx website under Track with Reference Number, see above.

mine says June 2. Again, this isn't a set in stone date. I've seen it get here before Fedex even updates its status, but I've also seen the expected date revised to a later date.

Its very possible that they left the warehouse on the 27th. If they didn't, well...obviously our delivery dates will be pushed back.

Maybe agingdragqueen can update on of they went out on Friday.

Lets not all go into panic mode about "where's my order, the sky is falling." woot ships using the most economical ground method, which generally means Fedex handing it off to the USPS for final delivery. It is what it is.

Actually according to the Product Page on Woot (http://www.woot.com/blog/viewentry.aspx?id=17778), it's being shipped via Ground shipping, not that Smartpost junk. It will be delivered by FedEx not your local Postal carrier.

For the price of the product and shipping I'm fine with the "shipping within 5 business days" policy of Woot.

My order has an estimated delivery date of 6/1, but no tracking information beyond "Shipment Information Sent to Fedex". I'm not sure what to make of that. Maybe it has shipped? Maybe it hasn't? I've had both happen with some other FedEx shipments before: the package has shown up before getting a shipped notification and on other occasions it has stayed on the "shipment information" status for several days before the box actually has gone out.

While I can understand that this can be frustrating to some, I accept this uncertainty as part of doing business with a discount deal-of-the-day website.

This is crazy I am kind of upset too! I never used WOOT before, first time, and they take my money tell me they will make me wait 5 business days then ship my product. Oh yeah because of a holiday, it will probably take a week and a half to two weeks before you get your product we charged you for before shipping.

Sorry to say this is also the last time I use woot!

I could of ordered this same product same condition from I think it was www.meritline.com for a little bit cheaper and they would of shipped it way before hand!

Did you not research your purchase? I knew it would take up to 5 business days. I also knew Memorial Day Weekend was coming up.

With a little addition, and a calendar (Most computers have a calendar feature), I was able to figure out what days where business days and how far away "5 business days" was (Thursday June 2nd).

If you make large purchases like this without taking a second to understand what will likely happen, then I have a bridge to sell you.

I agree it is irritating, and I'm as impatient as they can be. But it's not like the information wasn't available to you. So deciding to not use Woot! because you didn't fully understand how it worked is just plain silly.

I agree that it is a little ridiculous to threaten not to use Woot ever again because it is going to take some time for the item to ship. You can be impatient, but be reasonable at the same time.

I've bought a couple things from woot and more from shirt.woot. They take forever because it's cheaper, but they've never shafted me on my items. They wouldn't have any customers if they tried to pull that. Don't ever buy from woot if you need it by a certain date.

I usually just buy it, then forget about it so I get a nice surprise in my mailbox one day.

I have every right to be concerned about my money and the simple fact we have not had any type of status update. I read all of the terms upon the purchase of this item, but I do expect some sort of status update. It's probably a good idea to keep words like this out of a forum, might be adding fuel to the fire...or make everyone think you are just trolling...just my opinion.

myself and numerous friends have been purchasing from woot for years. never had a single issue. the MO isn't the fastest expedited service (go to amazon if you want that); people come here (and come back) for the deep discounts. it's a small operation.

My intention was to see if anyone else found the situation amusing as I did.

I understand that it's a lot of money, and a status update would be great. But I rather enjoy continued deals instead of them raising prices to pay a staff of people to send out daily messages to everyone to say "Sorry, it hasn't shipped yet, but should ship within 5 business days of the purchase date."

When a business says it should take X amount of days, you should only get worried AFTER X amount of days.

I personally don't consider a person asking about the shipping of something they purchased as a complaint. They are anxious to get this bad boy in their hands. I feel them. Me too!! Also, if someone decides that a lack of communication on the part of Woot.com is a deal breaker, that's their prerogative. And MOST comments that start off with, "I'm not trying to be rude", almost always are trying to do just that - be rude. LAUGHING at someone about their anxiety is RUDE and unnecessary.

It's funny you said that. I wanted to order two (1 for my wife)but by the time I went back to order the second one it already sold out. So I went to meritline.com and ordered the same thing for $15 more ($280 shipped). It was sent out the same day (5/26) and I received it today via USPS. They used the shipping method mentioned in a previous post (FedEx hand off to USPS) and it came from California and arrived today in NJ. It's replacing a rooted Nook Color (selling to a friend for $200. Same price I paid on Barnes & Noble Ebay deal a fews months back). The screen is much brighter than the Nook Color and it is definitely more responsive. I guarantee that anyone who ordered one will not be disappointed.

You know its funny you added this much more information to what I was getting at with the meritline.com deal!

I too exactly ordered this item because it was the best price I found so far online during the day of the deal, the idea behind getting the galaxy tab is to replace the rooted nook color I am sick of messing around with.

The wife gets my rooted nook color or it may be put to stock and I get a complete no hassle tablet aka the galaxy tab. During the woot deal of the day I found fatwallet.com and an add for the same refurbished galaxy tab at meritline.com which would of been cheaper for me to get here in WA since I had to pay sales tax thanks to amazon being affiliated with WOOT!

I now regret getting it through woot because I know meritline.com is a trusted source and I would have already received it here in WA instead of waiting on woot for a week or week and half just to ship the thing.

Well I learned my lesson, if you want it ASAP and make sure the deal doesn't go sour, look somewhere other than woot.com.

Anyhow I am sick of updating and re-rooting a nook color one of the many different ways just to get anywhere from 50 percent to 90 percent functionality out of it. I am also tired of the crappy performance from the mono speaker and low volume level.

So the plan was get a 3G galaxy tab since it has better hardware than the wifi version of it, and give the nook color to the wife. Found this deal then found the one on meritline.com. My gut was telling me to cancel woot.com order which you probably cannot anyways, and order from meritline.com, well I didn't want two of the same product so I was stuck with woot.

By the way, thank you WOOT! :P

Let us know how the refurbished sprint version from meritline.com treats you! Also if you could give us the kernel information and android version and the radio baseband info it would be great (firmware too)!
