First of all, I am feeling a little anxious to get this baby in my hands to play with. With that said. I will wait and at this point have no intention of cancelling my order.
Okay - now. If you used a major bank debit card or credit card, a person can ABSOLUTELY cancel their order from the bank and have their monies returned (in most cases like Bank of America - immediately). Especially, if Woot.com does NOT ship the item out within the timeframe that THEY set. Woot.com would have to prove to the bank that the item has been shipped. TRUST me.
In February, I purchased an IPAD for my husband from apple's site. When I made the order Apple linked an old iTunes account with my order and put in an old address. I put in my current address (a manager would later admit its a clinch in their system). Within 15 seconds of putting in my order I noticed the mistake and called Apple. They immediately made the changes (even sent me another receipt). Long story short, Apple sent that IPad to my old address, someone signed for it, and apple refused to return my money. I called my bank - my money was returned within an hour or so. I then went online a few days later and purchased another IPAD on the day they announced the IPAD 2 and even got it for $349 (refurbished).
All of that to say, if you don't get the item within a reasonable time a person CAN call their bank and cancel. TRUST ME! - If you used paypal.com you can too. I've done this a FEW times myself. Your money is protected.
