Mine now says it will be here tomorrow. If it's not, I might cry. Just put my wifi only Tab that I ebayed in the mail so I have no tablet to share my bed tonight.

Fantastic! Mine will be delivered today! And I have the day off too! So I sit here and every time I hear a vehicle my heart jumps.

For those who will ask, I live near San Antonio, so like 6 hours from Woot's! wharehouse.

Oddly enough, sometimes I order things on Woot! and get them 2-3 days after people in like New York and California...very odd.

Anybody have an idea of how to get Gingerbread on it without having to root it or waiting on Samsung to release it in the U.S?

VeeReihen6

quality posts: 0 Private Messages VeeReihen6

there's a lot less development of custom ROM's being done on this version being that it is CDMA and not GSM. You might just have to wait for Gingerbread to be released on it officially. If you don't want to wait for the, you WILL have to root it.

Mine is scheduled for Saturday but I had it shipped to my office and nobody will be there. I called FEDEX to see if they will change it to my house but they said they couldn't. FEDEX home delivery only delivers Tuesday-Sat so I won't get it until Tuesday. Bummer.

You could always go sit at the office - thats what I would do.

Sweet. That makes me do a happy dance right there. Mine is on a truck somewhere in town waiting to be delivered. That makes me happy right there. Knowing I won't have to sign some sort of contract with Sprint that I'll later have to hassle with cancelling makes me happier.

Mine was delivered at 1:40 this afternoon. Unfortunately, I'm at work, so it's sitting in my apartment office. I'll have something to look forward to this afternoon when I get home, though

We can call FedEx to change delivery addresses, but it delays the delivery by a couple days, so it's not always really worth it. But, we can!

The CDMA version sees very less dev compared to the GSM versions. But, as always, when there is a will, there is a way. Spacemoose is almost done making his build of Honeycomb for the Galaxy Tab, and yes he is making it for the CDMA tabs as well. Actually, he's making it for CDMA and then porting it to GSM. You can get all the info here.

So if you want to just skip GB and go to HC, this page is what you should be looking at.

Just got mine.
Something I was disappointed to find out was that there is no N Spec.

Please try and eliminate this in the future. Part of my decision to get this was to utilize the N protocol on this device since it was in your description.

"Compact and light, you can keep in touch with people and content through 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi® 802.11 b/g/n or Bluetooth® Wireless Technology 3.0"

Mine did the same as well.
Engadget articles are hinting at device updates this coming weekend.
When I try and manually get updates I receive ambiguous errors.
We will see how it goes in time.
So far , other then there really being no N spec, I am loving it.

You sure about that? Just about everywhere I've looked, including Samsung's website, and Sprint's owner's manual, it states 802.11 b/g/n compatability.

Additionally, I think the device that the Engadget article is referring to that might be getting the gingerbread update is the Evo 4G
