You can't just go around making prefixes and suffixes out of any syllables you like. There have to be rules for this sort of thing, or society will break down completely. At least Ben the Over-Literal Dermestid Beetle thinks so. He's sick of all these m*********ing "gates" on these m*********ing scandals!

Ben seems to be lightening up. He actually said he likes something, even though it was non-existent "chocohol." Then again if it actually came out, he would probably find a reason to hate it like not enough chocolate and/or alcohol.

I say wine.woot needs to make it happen!

EDIT:
"Alcoholic Chocolate Milk Now On Sale at Costco"
The ads on the manufactures website are ...interesting. I cracked up at the cheesy music.

"Uh-oh, a huge batch of unsold Yoo-Hoo has started to FERMENT! It'll be completely wasted. Sinegal's going to freak out."

"Hang on, did you say 'completely wasted?' I just got a crazy idea..."

I don't think Ben is being over-literal at all here. I agree with him 100%.

I <3 Ben.

I would also like to add that it isn't a significant scandal unless it gets it's own name. If it has to ride off the coat-tails off Watergate then it couldn't stand on it's own.

Still single, can't imagine why.

Chocohol does sound amazing. Unfortunately, results to date have been disappointing:

Somebody gave us a bottle, and I can say with no equivocation that was two great tastes that didn't taste great together.

I was watching an episode of Oddities on Science where they kept talking about prepping bones for mounting using dermestid beetles. And whenever they came on I'd sing "and they have a bone to pick." Which my wife didn't understand. Sad, really.

Actually, has nobody tried Godiva's Chocolate liquor? I think that could be considered Chocohol, and its amazing. I make a killer chocolate martini with it.....

Do not follow me, I walk into walls!

...but what about the huge scandal tied to the Washington computer software mogul and his multiple non-complying property fence access points for rollerblading, that he ilegally paid county inspectors under-ther-table to get signed approval for? You know the one...

"Gates' Skate Gates-gate"

The reason that the media calls all scandals something-gate, is that Watergate showed the power of the media to bring down a president. Thus, calling every scandal, something-gate, is just the media's way of patting itself on the back.

While the Teapot Dome Scandal was first exposed by "The Wall Street Journal", it was a Senate Committee, and not the press, that discovered the evidence that led to the conviction of the Secretary of the Interior, Albert Fall. President Warren G. Harding was never personally implicated, and had died in office before substantial evidence of Fall's wrong-doing had emerged.

Watergate led to innumerable articles, TV editorials, and journalism text book sections on "THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA." Prior to this point, the Fourth Estate had always assumed that "THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA" was to make money.

The hilarious British duo, Mitchell and Webb, also take a shot at the "gate" issue.

To each their own, really. While I line up with you on this thought, I got a bottle for Christmas last year, and we brought it out with a couple of other couples. Everyone but me really liked it, and I caved to peer pressure and said it was ok, and continued to try to sip it lightly, before putting some really fattening, salted-up processed product in my mouth to wash out the taste.

the animation SUX!!!... although I do agree with the "****gate". maybe he, the beetle, should do a take on lazy animators who don't have time for lip synching. sheesh, even south park has lip synching.

I totally agree that we should improve our animation -- if you even want to call it that. It's something I'm working on. But it's hilarious that you calibrate your minimum standards by what "even [a highly profitable, Emmy-winning COMEDY CENTRAL series with a team of professional animators and editors]" does.
