> Range 60GHz

Han Solo claimed his Millenium Falcon can make a Kessel run in 12 parsecs*)

1 parsec is a distance which light travels 3.26 years = 19,000,000,000,000,000 miles approx. :-p

Would a camera maven please explain the purpose of a digital SLR camera. My ancient Olympus C-5050 shows the image on its LCD just as it is going to be saved.

If this was placed in a cabinet under a wall mounted tv, would it work or is it line of sight only?

*Although performance characteristics may exceed stated distance limitations depending on the environment they are in, the following best practices are recommended to ensure optimal results.
The transmitter and receiver should:

Face each other within the same room - No can do

Be located within 33 feet each other - Check

Be placed at the same level; i.e. the transmitter should not be placed higher than the receiver - No can do

Be located in open spaces; i.e. not in a cabinet or enclosed shelf - No can do

Resolution up to VGA: 640 x 480 pixels - What?

Too many weaknesses

Monoprice's deal of the day is a better deal. Only $15 more (before shipping) and it allows up to 4 HDMI devices and it will send IR signals from the reciever back to the transmitter and your devices.

Cool find, a comparable device + some kind of HDMI hub with a selector.

The hub is useful if don't have an HDMI audio receiver

What happened to the days of funny pics and SUPER long comment threads on Woot offs? Am I missing something here? Did this conversation shift off-site to some location? Were the pics banned because of the Keifer Sutherland?

Same here. Stopped for a gallon of milk, bought $200 in groceries. Happens every time. All I kept thinking was that I should be saving this money to spend on Woot!!!!! Ah, well. I have a few bucks left. Bring on the Bouquet of Chrysanthemums!

This seems most popular with Kentucky, Virginia, and Maryland. What do they know that they're not telling?

Actually if you read the description, the hub can be useful even for those with an HDMI receiver. The hub has a local hdmi output as well. Which means you can hook up the transmitter downstairs on your main TV and the receiver upstairs in the bedroom. Then you can watch one of the 4 devices downstairs, while someone else watches another one of the devices upstairs.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. If these specs are right, I feel like I got screwed. I purchased a similar product about 3 months ago to send XBOX to a 25 about 30 yards away. Don't get me wrong, I love mine, but it only supports 1080i at 60Hz, while 1080p at 24Hz, meaning I have to turn my 360 down to 1080i for it to work properly. If this one really does to 1080p at 60Hz, JUMP ON IT, it is extremely cheap for that. Combine it with a powered hdmi splitter, and you can use blu/ray, cable box, XBOX, PS3 on multiple tvs at once, and one of the tv's can be a ways away. Barely any noticeable lag. The one I picked up was a competitors, you can check it out here:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0026FCGLI/wirelesshdmi-20/

but if these specs are right, go with the one they are selling!
