8th Big o' Cosmos for me. I missed the very 1st one in 2004, but have gotten many since. I agree with the earlier post in my last couple have been quite random and very crappy.

Got another one today...

But yeah, I'll admit, the quality level has gone down in recent months.

I'm not complaining, mind you... just an observation.

Well, finally scored my first Big o' Cosmos - only took 37 attempts!

My first ever woot purchase having been a member for 4 years. Always wished I'd lose my "wirginity" to a bag o' poop.

I managed to snag one by having two browsers open. It actually went pretty smoothly, albeit a bit slow before the big gold button came up.

So I called the bank in regards to my failed Big o' Cosmos order...... they saw the preauthorize come in, and said there was no problems with it. I still got rejected by woot for some reason. If there are any woot gods, please help me find out what is going on with this.

Try downloading Wootalyzer. It's a free add on and loads the buy page as soon as the Big o' Cosmos is offered well before the page is displayed on the website. Key in your security code and you're all set. Since getting it I've gone 2 for 2. Good luck!

There are still a few people who get really good ones. It's like buying an $8 lottery ticket. Normally you get at least $8 worth of stuff anyway, but most people play for the chance at an epic haul. I've never won Powerball, but I still play just so I can dream of hitting it big!

Seriously disappointed. Got in, order submitted, and 30 minutes later denied. Why? Nobody seems to be able to tell me. Bank has the authorization, everything was ok with the order, information matches and all. Customer service doesn't care, and I am SOL. No reason for the rejected order, and nobody is going to look into it.

If any staff reads this that actually cares, I really would like to have somebody look into this as I plan on sticking around for next time, and don't want a repeat of the same thing.

Does anything show on your My account page?
It's possible it went through to test that your payment info was good, but then sold out before your order could finalized. You might be on a "waiting list" of sorts in case someone else's order falls through. If you are deeply concerned, email service@woot.com.

I think it's because they changed from the "random crap" item that you had to select 3 of... to one "Big Orphaned Cetacea" that includes the three random craps.
