It's possible it went through to test that your payment info was good, but then sold out before your order could finalized. You might be on a "waiting list" of sorts in case someone else's order falls through. If you are deeply concerned, email service@woot.com.

Nothing is under the "My account" page - I got the notification from woot that said it was reserved for me, so it wasn't because it was sold out, it doesnt process to that point if it is sold out, plus I got in right away. I have already emailed woot service, but they had no answers for me, which is part of the reason why I am so frustrated. Bank said it was ok but the charge was taken off. Just looking for some answers.

While powerful, no one ever said the woot gods were benevolent. Unfortunately, it seems you may have been deemed unworthy and have been forsaken.

Yes, my last item went through with no problems at all. That is why I am stumped. I also tested my card at another vendor website just to be sure, and the charges went through fine. Reconfirmed all of my info, no problems there. I really want my Big o' Cosmos, however more importantly I want to find out what happened as I plan to stick around and don't want it to happen again.

Adding to the frustration is the response that I got that I feel was a canned reply politely saying they don't care. I am sure a lot of people get mad about not getting one, however something isn't right about this order. I understand it is a game for the carp, but I am grasping for some answers.

Exact response from support:

"I understand your frustration, a lot of people face these issues during the Woot-Off and ordering BOCs. There is nothing more we can do for you."

Your experience is nothing new, I have been trying for BOCs for over 4 years now and I've gone through the same thing multiple times. Sometimes it looks like they actually go through, only to bomb out at the very last second. The surge in traffic creates these odd behaviors. The bottom line is, when they're gone, they're gone. If you don't see the item on your account page then you are out of luck.

Don't get too frustrated though, that "almost had it" feeling is part of the fun of buying a Big o' Cosmos. Eventually you'll get one.

As far as I can tell it's luck. This is the third time I've managed to score a Big Orphaned Cetacea and I've tried maybe 400 zillion times. It usually crashes on me and, even if I get to the order page, it eventually times out and I lose. For some weird reason it zoomed right through today. I was blown away. I don't have any secret - I just got extremely lucky this time.

My first Bag of goodies...yes I know it's crap, but it's fun trying. Woot rocks!!

Two remaining. One apparently is residing at Zappos HQ, the other at Woot HQ, though they stated that at least one of those would be headed for a future Big o' Cosmos, nobody knows the timeline.

That being said, it really is totally awesome if you have the space to keep it [and I do, thank you Woot gods!]
