sprkmaker wrote:Moofi had a Baws Out Carryall? When did that occur and how do you usually get to moofi? is it always a hidden link?

1) Yes
2) Thursday afternoon
3) I have Woot! Watcher running in Chrome. Follow http://moofi.woot.com/moofi/robots.txt to see what it was. The Moofi deals are also usually posted on Deals.Woot.com. (However, the Crap won't make it up over there)
4) The link isn't really hidden... so much as... not obvious. Again, a Woot! Watcher, Wootalyzer, etc. should help you spot stuff like that.

There were 500 Craps on that Moofi - which explains why there were only 2500 during the Woot - off. Either way - I'm just super excited to have gotten crap. My hubs has been a wooter since 2007 and has yet to score some... He says I stole his mojo.

I was fortunate to get my second round of Blatz, Old Milwaukee & Coors! 'Tis a good thing - my FlushLight was getting pretty lonely.

So I got this Big o' Cosmos and I think it may be my greatest graduation gift. :D I don't care what is in it, just the fact I got it! In my view, from Woot, it's not just a Big Orphaned Cetacea, it's a Big 'ol Congrats. Thanks guys (and girls(TPW))!

I placed an order for a Big o' Cosmos and have not received a TR# yet. Maybe im impatient but it seems like a long time to start the shipment. Is this normal for Big o' Cosmos to take a long time to be sent?

Yes. A Big o' Cosmos takes much longer than a regular woot. The fact that it's shipped via smartpost does not help matters much.

43 woots, 36 from woot, 4 from kids.woot, 3 from sellout.woot, 16 Bunnies Ogling Carrots

How long would it take you to fill 3000 boxes with random junk then label them for shipping? Besides, it hasn't even been 5 business days yet. (see your order confirmation email) I think you need to slow your roll, hoss. Yes, this is normal. Crappy things come to those who wait.

Track by reference using order # still not working for me.

From previous experience... It will be 2-3 weeks. Their first priority is getting all of the normal woot-off items out. The the Boobs Over Charlie will be summarily scavenged from the warehouse scraps and boxed up and shipped out.

Until then... enjoy the anxiety...

First Big Orphaned Cetacea ever! Been trying for over 3 years and of course the time I don't even try I end up getting it!

I sure hope it is something that helps me to convince a girl to go out on a date with me... it's been so long :/

...then again a date would mean I would have to bathe or at least wash the cheeto residue from my fingers

The waiting for the Big o' Cosmos to ship is even worse than the waiting for the Big o' Cosmos to appear in the Woot-off...

The muzzle end of a .45 pretty much says 'go away' in every language.

Ah, synergy like in the 80's.

But you might not need the knife. Usually the Taping job on the box is crappier than its contents.

You might wonder if something fell out, many arrive half open.

I've received shipping confirmation for 3 out of the 5 woots I picked up this last Wootoff. One of them is not the Big o' Cosmos. That's a good thing; takes a long time to select and pack the super items I"ve got coming! ;)

As typical with the crappy bag...

It generally takes a FULL WEEK for the bags to leave the Woot warehouse... (5 business days, plus weekend.)

And then approximately another week for Smartpost transit time. (give or take a day or 2, depending on your distance from Texas.)

It's interesting how you say that. I live over 1500+ miles from Texas but I usually get mine in a day or two? What is this sorcery you say?! There is a major USPS/FEDEX/UPS facility near my house. The Big o' Cosmos's and many other shipments fly directly to my location. ^-^

Firefox 4 is not compatible yet

There are 2 woot watcher add-ons(last time I checked), one is great the other is garbage.

Unless you live in Western Washington, where it takes 2 full weeks of shipping time to receive your crap. Crap loves camping out in Kent, WA it turns out. I swear, if one of us Washingtonians ever got "the letter" we'd receive the truck with pallet(s) of goods well before the box with letter arrived from its hitch-hiking trip through the southwest and up the Pacific coast.

Your woot watcher, is it the one by Will McSweeney?

My Chrome is version 12.0.742.100 and that is the extent of my knowledge.

If it this matches what you have, uninstall/re-install the watcher. If that doesn't work do the same with chrome.

If that doesn't work then you're SOL.
Maybe someone here may have another Idea?

Things are slow, since I think we're still all waiting for tracking numbers. (i know i am.)

I think once we get tracking numbers, or at least are able to track by reference, we'll get a lot more posts.

I'm guessing we'll be able to track by reference starting later today, or tomorrow.

Yo - you gotta make sure the stuff you want is on the RIGHT side and not the LEFT under options. I did the same thing you did - selected everything i wanted and brought it to the left side under the options menu. I ended up having a little white box with no info...when i changed it back to the right side it worked fine.

This is my first go with Chrome; so far, i like it. Is it really that much faster? any bugs i should worry about?

I've been through several of the recent Big o' Cosmos threads and they all seem to resemble something like this.

Things will start to heat up once the track by reference and/or tracking numbers are distributed.

Edit: And look we are on page 16 now!
