I got one too, but my letter was a "fake" letter from TPW, it told me I got everything that was coming to me and I was to expect nothing else. I framed it and wait for the day I get a "real" one to add to the frame. People see it in my office and wonder what it is, I've brought many people to woot from the letter talk.

Thanks again TPW. =]

Just wanted to thank whoever posted the Skyfi mod. Worked great. I used a 15v 1 amp converter that leads to similar wattage as the original. Also nite you must have an audio source plugged in and playing while shorting terminals 4 and 8 or it won't work. Thanks again very cool mod.

Crap arrived yesterday...

Mostly the standard faire
2x Topsy Turvy Strawberry planters
1x Fact or Crap Dare Game
1x small Gonna Make You Lunch T-Shirt
and the odd item:
1x Four piece Ceramic Bathroom Vanity set (Lotion Dispenser, Toothbrush Holder, Tumbler and Soap Dish).

And of course the recycled shopping bag. Currently occupied by one kitten.

My daughter has claimed the shirt and my wife the strawberry planters. The bathroom set may be saved for a Yankee Swap X-mas exchange.

As always, thanks Woot!

Got mine, and it came a day early, too!

The tape on the top of the box was partially off, so I was worried at first that someone might have taken something out, but in the end I don't think so.

I got:

1 black and white polka dot bag
1 Fact or Crap game
1 WS t-shirt, Grim Optimism
1 air mattress (green) with battery-powered pump - came sealed in a box with a FedEx label. Looks new.

My office is having a toy drive for a children's cancer hospital, and I'd figured if I wound up with any of the kids stuff other people have gotten, or a small t-shirt, I'd donate it. But, um, I don't think I should donate this shirt there.

Anyway, it's been fun!

Thanks, Woot!

Thanks, I just added an annotation to the video to mention that. I had forgotten that I had audio running to it when I first tried it.

My first in seven years of Wooting!

I had more than $8.00 of fun waiting and reading the forum of everybody's Bundle of Crops!

1x iGo universal charger, no tips
1x polka dot tote
2x rub thing activity kit (3 sets in 1 package)
1 small t-shirt

Thanks, WOOT (Quest)!

quality posts: 0 Private Messages mgullick

A box containing 6 Rub-n-Color kid's coloring things - age 3+ (appx. $13 each)

A box containing 2 Franklin Covey leather covered note pads - red and 1 black (these are $18.49 each on overstock.com)

1 black and white bag

1 size 10 kid's shirt - it has multiple things on it but not sure what they are! White cubes that are a made up as a Pig, Chicken, Cow, Lobster, Fish, and a bigger "generic" one in the middle. Can anybody tell me what these things are? Marshmallows? Sugar Cubes? Generic white cubes? WHAT ARE THEY? I like the shirt but I'm too stupid to figure out what the things on it are.

For a total of $8 this is a pretty dang good score! My wife will use the Franklin Covey notepads for work. I'll give the shirt to my granddaughter. My wife has several nieces who have very small children - perhaps the coloring things will go there.

I also got 3 SanDisk USB charger cables - no idea what they fit - possibly some version of Sansa.

THANKS WOOT!

Oh...... Just in case anybody was wondering....... No letter.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home today (delivered Friday, but I had to leave town suddenly).
polka dot bag, size 10 kid shirt, 3x kids game and a universal car charger.

No kids here, and none to give that stuff too for a while. But I was going to buy a universal car charger, so that's handy, and the bag will make a nice storage bag for the other craps while i wait to give them away.

Oh and thankfully, no Texas Air.

Thanks Woot!

THANK YOU! I'm soooooo happy to know what the cubes are. Of course I freaking HATE tofu but the shirt is pretty cool. It represents the way that tofu tries to be food of various types - and fails miserably.

Thanks again for the enlightment!

My "replacement" crap is on the way. 2.2 lbs shipped on the 27th and due on the 29th. That seems really fast, but it doesn't matter anyway, because I'll be in Vail all weekend for the Kick It 3v3 regional championship soccer tournament. I should have it waiting for me on Sunday night though!

Thanks Woot!

Got mine yesterday:

1 x Delphi SkyFi dealio. Same as everyone else. No cables/manual

1 x WS X = Hell if I know (I like the design but I need a Men's small. Will trade for some MS)

1 x Thermos Roho water bottle (of the arrow "Kerplunk" variety) which is cool because I needed a new water bottle

1 x Black and white reusable bag

Definitely my best haul so far. Long live woot!

I love seeing all of the fun things, and this was the best I have gotten. The funny thing is over the years, the one thing I use the most is the bags. Two of them have made perfect camera cases.

If woot is watching please stop marking Bundle of Crops on the box as my boxes keep coming to me open with the pieces inside scattered. I never know if anything is missing because it is what is is.

I am guessing if you sent a letter you would let me know anyway. Someone in the shipping process always seems to know when my Bundle of Crops is coming.

Got mine today! I'm kinda excited, because this was the crappiest one I've gotten to date!

Here's what was in it:

  • One (1) Polka-dot reusable shopping bag (the only thing I can use)
  • One (1) shirt (I don't know the design name) in Ladies size Small (the size of one of my thighs-- I may make a pillow out of it)
  • Six (6) identical Rub-n-Color Activity kits (too bad I don't have kids)

Here's what it looks like:

And here is what happened right after I took the picture:

I got my first Bindle of Carrots on Monday.

3x - Topsy Turvy Strawberry Planters
1x - Fact or Crap or Dare game
1x - Parliament of Owls tshirt
1x - Skil Screwdriver Set (missing the actual handle, but I'm guessing I can find something suitable)
1x - Parliament of Owls tshirt, kids small
1x - Bicycle gloves!
1x - Black and white polka dot bag

Nothing terribly glamorous, but I'll definitely use the planters (we tried strawberries a few years ago, but the raccoons and squirrels kept harvesting them for us) and I actually missed the screwdrivers last time they were offered. What I'm happiest about are the bike gloves. I'm planning to try some bike commuting in the fall when the weather's a little more suitable; an hour each way will be much easier with cushy gloves. Thanks, Woot!

Got mine yesterday. It was a bog-standard 5.3 pounder. One black and white plastic tote bag thingy, a small kid's t-shirt, two of the rub and color books, and a box of the Sham Wows.

I can use the Sham Wows in the shop, and the rest of it is a bonanza for the kid of some friends.

Generally pretty pleased although wouldn't have minded a set of the paddling gloves. Or, you know, a letter.

In case anyone wants to try graphing coolness of carp vs time to win, I navigated to the winning page about thirty seconds before they sold out.

Got mine yesterday. After having no tracking for days and the 1 lb placeholder it finally arrived. I got:
2x rub and color cases = 12 total packets
5x football cards
4x kids size 10 t-shirts
3x Sansa cables

I have 2 kids and they have a ton of friends so the rub and colors will get gifted over time. It will be a while until they grow into the shirts. Was hoping for the crap game or strawberry planters for myself, but I like my haul.

Thanks Woot!

Best Coasters? Surely you meant to say LEFT Coasters. . .

The Very Definition of Irony:
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.”
Somewhere there is a rather massive disconnect, isn’t there!

If that's a problem for someone who refuses to obey the speed limit it is not my responsibility to get out of their way. If they want to drive recklessly that's fine, but I will not go out of my way to let them continue to drive illegally. In fact most get reported to highway patrol and I have witnessed many receive tickets because of it. There is never a situation that justifies driving above and beyond the posted speed limit, period.

I have a CRAP story to share...
yesterday I posted the contents of my CRAP, and among the things I found inside was an IPOD NANO (refurb) ... and I bowed to the woot gods. Well this story is about how the gods smile down upon us all and bestow magnificentness unto the world.
While the ipod was charging, I made my post, and afterwards when I disconnected it to play around with the settings and buttons, I discovered why it was a REFURB... the power/standby button was "stuck" and would not move. So today I took it to the local apple store in town, to see if they had a simple fix for it. After waiting for about an hour for a tech to be available, I passed the 1 inch square of tech over and started to worry.
Guess what, it was still under warranty, and they replaced it with a brand new one!
It just goes to show that a little worship can go a long way. I've decided to up my bowing to the level of kowtow-ing instead. May this story reverberate through the halls of the woot gods.

So I rarely post on these. I enjoy my stuff, I enjoy reading about everyone's stuff, and all is right with the world. But this is kind of epic.

So my 20 lb box arrived on the porch this evening, waiting when I came home. Yay! (well, I yelled something else, but still. you get the point.)

I drag my 20 lb box inside (which feels a lot lighter than 20 lbs but it's so huge, I think it was dimensional weight). I open it up and take stock:

1x floral recycled bag
3x recycled polka dot small bag (2 are in a plastic bag themselves)
6x rub & color thing
1x woman's small shirt - Intergalactic Deathmatch Football (actually cool - will have to figure something to do with it - may borrow another person's idea for a pillow!)

And...

My Very Own Kitchen.

No seriously. That's what it's called. My Very Own Kitchen. it's a kid's toy kitchen, and it's an state of disarray and various parts. Looks like someone started putting it together, said "oh forget this" and chucked it back into the box. And then this box got put inside an even bigger box, and sent to me.

Thanks Woot! I am SO amused by my kitchen I can't even tell you. I think I'm having many friends come over for bbq and alcohol and we're going to put my kitchen together. The entertainment value of the kitchen alone is worth the $8!!

Pictures can be forthcoming if anyone would like to see my kitchen

My Beginning of Creation finally arrived: 33 lbs of Carp
The 16.8" cubed box turned into a 36"x28"x17" box
(Actually two boxes sorta taped together at one end)
The other end was open so who knows what has been lost.

1 x kids Tee "Chucknorium"
3 x recycled flowered shopping bags
2 x topsy turvy strawberry planters
3 x misc screws embedded into the strapping tape
1 x Kidkraft Fire Rescue Set Wooden firehouse
with furniture, truck, two firemen and lots of loose pieces and parts
but missing the helicopter and ambulance. (Fell out of the open box?) It measures 31" x 17" x 24". appears to have been partially assembled by the same person who attempted to assemble the kitchen in an earlier post, used, and in need of a lot of work.

Oh, and no Texan emergency breathing apparatuses and no letter.

The wife is happy with the bags and my 9 year old is ecstatic over his new shirt and firehouse. The teenage son and I are basking in their happiness 'cause there was nothing else we could do.
The Planters will join the other 6 we bought from Woot! sitting in the shed for next season.

Thank you Woot! for my best Bundle of Crops yet!

Woo-hoo, got my Bundle of Crops today! It may have felt light, but it was more than decent.

Truth or Crap game
Small T-shirt (constellations)
Flowering Tea
Topsy-Turvy Strawberry Planter
Water gloves
Black & White polka dot bag
Brand new RC helicopter

Don't know who I'll give the water gloves and the tea to, but the rest will be used.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.
