I really like Bissell products. While I haven't owned this particular item, they always do a really good job when it comes to cleaning, especially the little spot bot pet vac thing I have.

just checked snopes. won't harm pets. Besides, Swiffer is manufactured by P&G. P&G does lots of animal testing prior to products hitting the market. here's the snopes link:

http://www.bissell.com/how-to-videos/2x-concentrate-formulas/

In the video, it briefly displays "safe for pets" on the screen.

Also, I assume you could fill the chamber with anything you want.

Perfect for my little Hobbitt House with wood floors. Anyone want to buy my Swiffer with the replaceable pads?

Aw, you made TT cry. Shall I go in for one TT to mop up the blood when you punch him in the nose?

Vacuuming sucks.

The pad is just a thick microfiber cloth with velcro on one side, cut and seamed to fit this. You can wash it like any microfiber cloth (don't use fabric softener).

You can buy exact Bissell replacements or you can probably hack one together yourself.

Jeez... I can't believe some of you people. You whine and complain about the best deals in the whole wide world: stuff that YOU don't find exciting... But it seems to be selling, so somebody must like it. Turn your wootalyzer off and go to bed.

I stayed up for 72 hours once on a marathon Woot-Off that lasted for several days. I didn't get the Bundle of Crops - I think it hit the minute I gave up and finally went to sleep. It happens. You also can't say for sure that there's only two hours left in this Woot-Off, because it's over when it's over.

Got this last Woot. The vacuum is pretty good and does suck up a good amount of hair, dust and small pieces of debris. Much easier and cleaner than a broom and dustpan. Not too thrilled about the microfiber pad though. I'd rather have it use disposable pads because I don't want to have tho thrown something so icky into my washing machine. I have a cheap $6 Lysol wetpad cleaner that allows you to use anything that you can stuff into the holes that secure the corners. I've used paper towels, old rags, etc. This mop uses velcro and is configured only for the microfiber pad.

In for three: home, office, farm!!! $70 for three dustpans and brooms wouldn't be much cheaper, and just doesn't do as well on liquids.

It may not do so well in the barn though.

Been there; seen those.

Just wash 'em separately... All your other stuff won't get icky.
