Send your brother donuts every week, and when you are tired of the shirts, he will be about ripe for them. :-)

While you sit there and work on obtaining your "quality post" award, I diligently work on the virtually unachievable "quantity post" award. Clearly, I set the bar just a little bit higher.

You can, in fact, order multiple sizes in one order. You cannot, however, make more than one order on one Woot site in one day with one account.

Also, 3 is the maximum you are allowed of any one item. (In this case, an "item" is a set of 5 shirts.) You only get charged shipping once per order, so next time, order all three items at once.

You are correct. The odds of getting a job in a Dying Fetus T-shirt are well.... grimm.
The odds go up dramatically even in an eastern block polo shirt.

I hate this style of shirt, always have, even in its glory days of the '80s. And yet, they're oddly tempting at this price. The thrill of the grab bag makes it all the more intriguing. At the very least, they'll make good studio shirts and keep me from staining all my fashionable Tees.

I'm in for 15. And random colors, that makes it all the more fun. And even if some colors are repeated, they're gonna get spread out over three weeks. At under $2 a shirt, how can you say no?

Pockets? Easy enough to make yourself with scissors, some spare fabric, and some sewing time. Just put the foreign fabric on the inside. Or the outside if you prefer. At this price you can even sacrifice the ugliest shirt for the fabric.

Thought about this one for just a second. But then I rethought. I don't live in Jersey and I don't think anyone has been this cool since the 80's annyway.

what a great price and in my size even! Too bad they are not some other type of shirts.

I would a been all over these if this was a Hawaiian Shirt woot.

what is tomorrows woot? Carpenter shorts? Over all's? Rubber boots? maybe some spray on orange tanning lotion?

This ones so OMGOMGOMGPONIESOMG PONIES! they didn't even send me a news letter on it, I actually had to come see for myself.

GRRRRR!

swafford wrote:I don't own this particular model of shirt, but I own a few that are similar. They are pretty nice and allow me to go out in public without getting strange looks. They conveniently come with two arm holes, a hole for your torso, and an adjustable hole for your neck.

One warning, the shirts I own do NOT cover my legs. This may be seen as a disadvantage, but I think it's nice, because it allows you to mix and match with a variety of other products (I've had good luck with "shorts" and "slacks". I've heard "jeans" are compatible as well). Just wanted you guys to know before you buy them that you'll need to make another purchase before going out into public.

This is great advice. I really appreciate it! Can you give some pointers about the best way to make everything mix or match? I remember someone saying something to me about it is risky to "mix" up things too much, but since you're saying we can combine either shorts or slacks with this model of shirt I'm wondering if certain combinations are more handsome than others.

Reminds me of a story about Arthur Murray, the star of Arthur Murray's Dance Party. When he was touring, he discovered that the cost of laundering underpants was actually more than the cost of underpants. So he started wearing undies once, then dropping them in the wastebasket in his hotel room.

I just bought 10 shirts for $2.98 (Texas tax included) each - even if 7 of them are so ugly I'll never wear them, i still just got 3 mediocre shirts for just under $7.00 a piece - I'm OK with that.

There's also the option to bleach and/or tye dye them to make them more interesting. Or frankenfy them into your version of the Sixth Doctor Colin Baker's outfit.

It's simple math

S/(S+C)*P

Where:
S= choices in solid
C= choices in combo
P= probability that Woot actually cares about your preference when the guy in the warehouse reaches his mitts into the big box o shirts.
