What Marvel needs to do is make a comic/show similar to DC's Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Then we would know some of the less popular and obscure heroes.

I was laughing at all the serious replies because I was SURE that the WOOT staff had made up all the character suggestions. Then I Googled them and found all to be, for lack of a better word...valid. Wow. I guess my vote goes to Squirrel Girl, I'd like to see a trend in fur leotards. Plus in Hollywood, Ms. Marvel's "Alcoholic with a Superhuman Body" is already overdone.

Way back in the 1970's Marvel had a series called "Deathlock." Originally, only 6 issues were published, and the material was deemed "too mature" for the average reader of graphic lit. (However, the character did apparently reappear in the Marvel universe on occasion.)

I'd pay $1 for a Redbox rental of a movie based on the original series.

There was a TV movie (don't laugh) about "the Flash," and it was not all that bad.

Just not all that good, either.
