Yeah but that will only transmit the sound out from the Samsung headset, not make you able to transmit your voice back into the headset then to your device right?

Once you hit 50 woots of course you get the entry code to Bundle of Crops.woot.com where they have bloated ostrich colons all day every day forever and ever and ever and you can buy as many as you want.

Best Bundle of Crops re-write EVER.

Heres the scenario, I have a Turtle Beach headset I use for gaming on the XBOX, Turtle Beach makes and over prices Bluetooth set for the PS3 that you can plug the wire for the mic into the .35 mm jack built into the bluetooth device and use the mic on the big turtle beach headphones...would this samsung work like that or would it only be audio out via the .35mm jack?

It's 3.5mm. The little bluetith reciever doesn't have 3.5mm. Also, I can barely make myself read your post. What with the caps, nonsense, and other issues

I own this headset. The ear buds take advantage of the the stereo Bluetooth profile and sound better than the one ear piece to listen to music. The idea is that you clip the bluetooth with the wire attached to your shirt and have the earbuds in your ear when you are listening to music. They sound like earbuds twice the value. The actual headset detaches from the wired earbuds and hangs on your ear (like any other bluetooth headset) when you are using it for regular use. I listen to these at work with the ear buds and drive home without the earbuds attached. Hope this helps.

get the wootalyzer, and not only will you get the items 30 seconds or so before those without, it automatically comes up when a new item is presented

cornflakejustice wrote:Or clip it to the collar of your shirt or one of the strings connected to the earbuds.

The bluetooth is designed to be used on it's own, or with the earbuds. If you connect it to your phone via BT and stick just the headset bit in your ear you get the mic by your temple and sound coming out of the speaker bit in your ear on the headset.

If you instead use the headphones the jack goes into the BT headset (not your phone) and sound will come out of the earbud speakers, you still have to speak into the mic.

Right... But why? Why the earbuds? You'll put the blue tooth bit in your pocket... Where your phone is.... And you still have wires. Might ad well plug moral ear buds into you phone. I really really don't get this thing

(do they? I am not seeing it... If they do, why have the 3rd earbud?)

The first earbud is the bluetooth itself.
The other two are to connect to the bluetooth unit and wear it like headphones with the blutooth in your pocket or somewhere. There is a mic on headphones if you look on the package contents you can see it.

So I bought this headset during the last woot-off, and I'm still loving it.

Although my ears are average size, I can never get any earbuds/earpiece to stay in my ear, but this set came with little rubber pieces that I use in addition to the ear clip, and it stays in place perfectly.

The volume is a bit low for my tastes, but that's probably because I always have the AC blasting in my car.

People on the other end of the phone can hear me fine as well, I figured that would be important for you guys to know as well ;p

That extra cord in the picture is actually a headset used to listen to music, like you can clip the headset somewhere and attach the headset, and listen to your music wirelessly.

All in all, I am still satisfied with this purchase, but the only drawback would be how at times, if the other end is kinda quiet, I have to push in the headset to hear them better, but other than that, I say those who are looking for a decent headset should go for it!

Well I got mine in. Sounds really good and not too shabby looking. The only problem is when I went to slip it on my ear -- gently (it is my ear) -- the cover popped off! There are two little bosses that lock to the top and you could see two little spots of glue at the bottom that apparently did not stick.

So broken in about 15 seconds! I used just a drop of polyurethane glue on each of the little glue spots (non-foaming, Liquid Fusion NOT Gorilla Glue) and it seems to be ok, but I'm wondering how long before the cover is gone?

They do sound good and the mono piece is very light!
