$50? Really? Aren't these the sort of DVDs you see in the $2 bin at WalMart?

The Beatnicks was pretty good but it is usually a Joel v. Mike thing and this is all Mike if I remember right.

Good price but you can torrent all episodes if you look for the MST3K Digital Archive Project.

Final Sacrifice is one of the best ones. Not Sace Mutiny good, but pretty darn funny in its own right.

What's with the MST3K hate?

If you find these in the $2 bin at Wal-Mart, someone seriously has no idea what they're doing. This is about a $150 dollar value.

Would be in for 1, except I bought Volumes 17 and 18 already from a previous Woot. Too bad Volume 19 wasn't sold by itself.

I'd totally buy this... except I have a previous woot with two of these sets. I'll have to buy XIX separately.

The following is NOT sarcasm.

I've always wanted to say, I admire the marketing in that picture. How you can make 4 items look like 28. I've always liked that picture, seriously.

Edit:
@ziggyfield: I somehow missed that picture, but saw all the other ones. =P

Yay for limited gypsy figurines and special mini-posters.

WOW...People are really complaining about the price of this? Yes, the movies are bad but the MST3K is one of the classic TV shows of all time. Saying that these should be in the bargain bin is just crazy. Each of the three contains four episodes that are originally two hours long with commercials. While some episodes can be a little dry, MST3K should be the benchmark when determining if someone has has a good sense of humor. If you don't think MST3K is funny, then your opinion on comedy doesn't matter.

Oddly enough, I've barely been paying attention to this Woot-Off. Yet, if there was one item I've been waiting on, it's this one.

Something to bond over with the GF and her dad... thanks, Woot!

Let's put it to the Steve-O-Meter........yes, Steve Allen already thought of this, and he didn't pay $49.95.

If you missed out on this, I'd like to point out that most of the MST3K episodes are available via Netflix streaming (and last I checked they had every single episode on DVD).
