Reviews for the caulk itself are horrible. Doesn't hold up in water. I'm being serious and not making a joke.

I bought Caulk last time it was for sale on woot (also a 2-pack). The key w/ this pack is making sure you get a big enough hole in the tip. Otherwise it takes way too much effort to get your caulk out. Other than that... it worked great. It was my first time using my own caulk all by myself.

My husband usually handles this type of task around our house. But we needed the bathtub recaulked so I bit when this was offered before. I wanted the bathtub done before he was going to get around to it. Had no clue what I was doing but using the tool I recaulked the whole tub in one evening. Hubby was impressed by my work.

In a nutshell, if you know nothing about caulking but need to - this is a great little kit.

When it comes to repairing stuff around the house- I usually caulk it up.

Speaker mounts are starting to look pretty exotic.

Aaargh! I wish I had thought of this when I was filling the gaps around the tile floor I installed. I got so aggrivated because it would leak out around the edge of the tool and make streaks. (Partially my fault - I cut too much of the tip off the tube and wasted a ton.) Since it was a grey color to match the grout, and I'd also installed a tile baseboard, it was a particularly big deal, and there was a lot of cursing involved.

I have some similar shaping tools which cost more, but I like them better because they have handle grips. No carpal tunnel for me thanks!

I think I saw "High Gloss White" if I look really close at the pic.

Almost pulled the trigger until I saw it was white Caulk. The kit I bought once has 1 white and 1 clear. I use clear for house projects more often.

It's probably white, but if that makes you feel inferior, you could probably paint it black.

I bought the caulk.

This is adhesive caulk, not silicone sealant.

And don't forget this is better than just using your finger!

Let me explain it to you... The former wooterists sold the company to Amazon so they could have beer on some deserted island near Bali... they were previously sending back descriptions for Amazon but had informed Amazon that they already had all the money they needed and would be retiring in August.... Amazon being the oversized corporation it is, passed that memo off to John... who passed it to Ted... who passed it to Jill... who didn't really care... after months of delay it wound up on George's desk... he didn't want to bother hiring anyone creative to write the descriptions so he told his secretary Wanda that she had a new job.... Now being that Wanda is really just a struggling actress waiting for her big break she decided it was easier to cut and past old material instead of trying to use her few remaining brain cells (after all those copy and paste wiki term papers she turned in at University of Phoenix all got A's)...

And that is why you don't have any quality anymore... the old wooterists are drunk on an island county their money.

Apparently, there are a lot of us wooters who need some good caulk. Also, we all need to re-seal our showers and tubs... odd.
