Shoot I should of looked at this a little better. Bought this TV so my bed ridden son could be entertained. So he's stuck watching an old standard TV with pliers for the tuner.

LOL.

Ha glad to know it takes more than 6 hours to send a tracking email.

copy / paste / send
copy / paste / send
copy / paste / send

Look it took me 10 seconds to send 3 emails already...

I would think one could provide hand written letters at this point...

Looks like it originated from TX. Mine is estimated for delivery in Florida on Wed the 31st. That might give you an estimate

Mine says it shipped but when I go to track it it just says the label was made but hasn't gone out yet... ? And do we sign for our packages cuz I don't want that big box just standing on my porch when I'm at school all day :/

My email from Woot says a label was created but UPS says that they do not have any shipping data as to where it is going, who it is coming from, or what they are even shipping. The TV has not even been dropped off at UPS nor have they requested UPS to come pick it up.

So here is the timeline of promises issued to the customer and broken :

August 18th: Woot receives order and bills my credit card on the 19th for full amount before even receiving shipping information (which is against Visa Regulations I am told by my CC issuer by the way). In return for taking my money they send me a promise that order will be shipped within 5 business days.

August 25th (The fifth Business Day after order): I receive a tracking number from Woot showing me that the the order has shipped. I click on it and connect to UPS only to find out that it is a bogus tracking number created without any shipping information (anyone can do this by the way and it costs the UPS shipper nothing, it just disappears in the system if nothing is delivered to UPS within 20 days).

August 28th (the 10th calendar day and 7th business day): Still nothing delivered to the shipper showing any package of any size to be picked up or delivered for the tracking number given me.

Woot: You lied, pure and simple, black and white. It did not ship by the 5th business day. You breached your agreement after taking the full purchase price on my credit card long before any intent to ship. So tell me, how are you going to make this right?

While your pride and enthusiasm are wonderful Woot, your promises and your reputation (aka BRAND) should mean much more to you. If you can't even control the things that are 100% under your control (taking peoples money in return for a promise to perform). Please earn my trust from now on please, you lost the right to ask for it for a while. You did not just sell me a TV for $239.00, you also gave away your companies most valuable asset for free- Integrity and Client Trust.

I am very dismayed by your actions and the the horrible way you tried to hide them by issuing bogus shipping docs. You promised shipment, not an empty bogus shipping doc that does not even state who the shipper is.

I have a suggestion: Do what you say, say what you do. Easy to remember and earns the respect, admiration, and trust of all including your enemies.

No, they sent empty tracking numbers. No information was sent in to UPS, just requested the numbers which they forwarded to us. They did not ship and it is well beyond 5 business days, you can check with UPS yourself. Facts do not deceive. I would not speak for your vendor anymore, but I guess you already did with the 5 business day promise not kept. You promised they would ship, not send us bogus tracking numbers for products never delivered for shipment (Yes, I know).

Please find out who is driving the Titanic before you hit another iceberg again. These requests of taking the customers money more than a week up front on the promise of future shipment is a covenant you have taken all too lightly despite the serious nature of it. I think you would be better off at this point realizing that facts don't lie and ask how you can repair the damage you have done by not keeping your commitments to your customers. Your vendors are your problem, not your customers. This should not be a "What should we do?" moment. The right answer is quite simple even if you just want to believe in yourself in the future, let alone your customers ever believing you again.

You made the promise in return for the customer paying you up front before even having the remotest idea of when shipping might be, which is against CC regulations altogether. Keep yourself accountable and make it right Woot.

Sorry all, we were told by our vendor that these did ship out, but obviously some haven't. We are checking with them and UPS to see what's up and we'll let you know what we find out.

Here's what my tracking number says: "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated." Where's my TV Woot? I keep promising my kid (in College and his roommate is pissed) that it will come today. Looks like I've lied again.

I'm in this same boat, and this was to be a birthday present, slightly annoyed and despite wanting today's woot (the security camera kit), I am not purchasing.

I e-mailed Woot customer service and got this in response:

As far as we know, these TVs have all been shipped.

With the inclement weather on the east coast, there could have been a delay in pick up/updates by UPS. Please allow some more time for the tracking info to update now that the weather has passed.

So, they have been shipped. They're out of Woot's hands now, really, and any non-communication or mis-communication is not Woot's issue, it's UPS'.

Stilll no shipping info or the actual TV. CC was charged on the 20th and 9 days later still nothing from woot, beside the random post here?? Come on folks, your better than this!! Take care of us or lose us!! --Update, as usually, after posting this, I got the tracking info and is supposedly going to be delivered tomorrow... Thanks for the info!!

Do I have to complain to get mine posted too? Well, still no TV...chances are I will not be ordering from Woot! again. Hopefully by the time I post this my UPS tracking number will change too. Maybe Woot! should check out their 3rd party "vendors" before deciding to do business with them.

Complaining won't work either. I sent an email to service@woot.com early this morning and haven't received a response yet. Again poor service on Woot's part.

It is their communication (lack thereof) that needs improvement. I think most of us would be fine if they would just tell us the truth of what has caused these delays. Yea Texas weather HaHa

Ha, got the email just now. How funny is it that I posted that I sent an email but no response from Woot. Then I get from them.

I say they sold more then they had and had to scramble to find another vendor to deliver on their promises. Who knows what I will get.

Please note that orders typically take 5 business days to process (excluding holidays and weekends) before shipping. The order is shipping from another vendor location other than Woot, which could cause a small delay. Please allow 24-48 business hours for the confirmation email and tracking data. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

I bought this tv on the 18th, for my significant other's birthday on September 5th. That would give Woot over half a month to fulfill the order.

In the past i had not had an issue with Woot shipping their items late.. until this time.

I waited patiently for the 5 business days, and also for the 24-48hrs for the shipping information to be updated.

Its been 10 days, 6 business days, and 72hrs since i received the shipping label information, and still there has been no indication that the product has been shipped. Kasplund notes above that he contacted UPS and they've confirmed that no product was ever delivered to them.

I can only conclude that the product has not in fact shipped, and woot has violated the deal we made when they charged my credit card.

There's still time til September 5th for me, which is why i continue to wait, but i am royally P.O'd by what looks like disregard for their customers.

We contacted our vendor and they have assured us that these have shipped out and the tracking will show movement by tomorrow.

I sent PMs to most of you regarding the shipping. Please email us at service@woot.com if you need further assistance.

I agree. And I live in Utah so the storm on the East coast was nowhere near me or Texas. Maybe it is snowing in Colorado or something.

I received the shipping info on the 26th. it was shipped on the 25th which was within the 5 business days. I can see my package's movement through UPS's network. expected delivery date is 9-1...

It seriously shouldn't take 2 weeks to get a refurbed tv from anywhere..not in this century.

Got my shipping info finally with an actual date! I was surprised at how willfully Woot broke its commitment of 5 business days, I am anxious to see if they can surprise me by exceeding my expectations on the product at least. Let's see if they are taking responsibility for their failure to keep their commitments before we award them the venerable "Yugo" award for (Lack of) commitment to service and quality excellence.... LOL.
