Although I understood from the FAQs that I should not expect "amazon.com-like" customer servce when I placed this my first order on woot (on 8/30), I have to admit that I have been frustrated by the shipping process, especially when you read that others had their machines so quickly. I finally received my shipping notification e-mail on Thursday, 9/8 at 8:33 p.m. EST. FedEx is showing that my computer arrived at the Hutchins, TX FedEx facility on 9/9 at 3:01 p.m. on 9/9, and apparently is still there. Since I'm in Georgia and the computer is in Texas, I don't think they're going to make the current estimated delivery date of 9/10(today)! I think what frustrates me the most is the short 90-day limited warranty on these refurbed models, which--as I understand it--runs from the date of purchase. As it stands now, I will probably receive my machine on 9/14 or 9/15, which means I've lost 16-17 days of my 90-day warranty period due to the delays in the shipping process. As someone said earlier, a definite fumble by woot, and I'm going to have to think hard about whether I should order again. Still, I wish everyone who ordered one all the best with their new machines--hopefully, they're worth the wait!
