Hey Woot community, I know you are all frustrated, so i had a few points I wanted to make.
Actually the truth is that Woot drop shipped them. What do i mean? They TECHNICALLY don't have a warehouse full of them, they send the orders to HP Outlets. They just keep the money they make off us. But we can agree that:
1) its past 5 business days
2) on the 5th business day is the FIRST message we get regarding a delay
3) We still do not have a confident outlook on this since they are being drop shipped.
4) This isn't the norm. that online businesses usually run and that is why there is a lot of backlash for this order. I am sure Woot would agree this is an unusual situation.
5) I still think this is a good deal and worth joining Woot for. I would like to think that Woot offers incentives for those customers who have waited 5+ days without a shipment's notification. In order to keep their customers, because this goes against their customer guarantee. And also because they are making thousands off of each order I can assume this would not be difficult to arrange.
Well those are just my thoughts. I hope we are constructively working to make Woot better, but not putting the company down because of this debacle.
