Any evernote users out there? or anyone with experience with these scanner?
I'm looking to use this just to scan into an evernote notebook.
currently i'm doing it with an all-in-on scanner to an eye-fi card which drops into an imported evernote directory. works well, but the all-in-one is slow.
I see this has no SD slot, so i'd be tethering a laptop to it. -- meh...
anyone know if it can just drop PNG/JPGs or whatever to some directory without using the neatdesk stuff (which amazon reviews show as lacking)
anyway, sorry for the jumbled sentences.. it's late over here : )

I use these at work and they are definitely reliable when it comes to the common office equipment. The printers/fax machines will break before this will..
However if you are just doing small stuff (taxes for example and home use), you are better getting off a portable one like:

Cheaper and all you really need for the home

I only setup 3 check scanners for different banks, but all of them required TWAIN drivers, this model does not support TWAIN.
So my guess is 'probably not'
