That said, I've already pre-purchased it and I'm enjoying the beta right now.

It's nice to be able to play an engaging and nearly infinite game without having to worry about buying the latest water cooled three-slot $1000 video card, or overclocking my CPU to 5GHz using a cooling system that sucks more power than a microwave oven, just to get a playable framerate.

Mass Effect 3 and the Old Republic. Bioware's gonna be getting a lot of my money.

Where is Guild of Wars 3 on this list?

Mass Effect 3 wasn't a candidate and it made me sad.

I guess I already "own" Minecraft. But it's only going to get better from here.

Hard Reset is making me, well... you know.

Technically a couple of those games are "must buy" for me... but it's actually "must buy when the price gets cut in half mid-January."

Street Fighter X Tekken is looking awesome, also not a huge MvC guy but gonna give Ultimate MvC3 a shot, if all else fails there is always MvC2.

Assassin's Creed Revelations for sure. I also cant believe that Gears of War 3 wasn't on the list. I have pre-ordered both of those.

Well, if the put ME3 on the list it would be 100% ME3 and 0% everything else. That wouldn't be much of a poll.

My will to love gaming died when Descent ended.

Diablo 3 of course, but I confess I'm F5'ing for that promised big DLC pack for Portal 2. NTM Heart of the Swarm next year (if we're lucky).

And, who knows, maybe user-generated content will make Duke Nukem Forever worth the bargain-bin price. Can't count on the dev. for content.

I'm waiting for MechWarrior and hoping it comes out.

Gears of war 3 is the only one of watching for.

I'm with the folks who are hoping for a Portal 2 DLC. Also, Mass Effect 3 is going to eat my life for a while when it comes out.

Another vote for Uncharted 3!!! I am also looking forward to the Splinter Cell Trilogy remastered for PS3 on 9/27.

I'm surprised Arkham City got so few votes.
