Basically, woot! offers what they call a Bindle of Carrots. It's shown as a brown paper bag with a question mark on it. It's one flat price, very reasonable, and can contain ANYTHING they have left over. It could be something worth $0.01, or something worth $250. You just never know.

Oh, and they are just about impossible to get!

And here I thought you could never actually buy one. I guess I'm too slow poke.

when you can only go on after 9 am the bar is too high to get a bag...perhaps woot should reset the scores and allow others to win.

I think I'm up to 15 bags now, but I've been Wooting for quite some time. The early bags were usually pretty unique and weird and not many were the same except for the bag, bucket, backpack or whatever the container happened to be for that particular sale. Lately there is a sameness to them which may reflect the popularity of the bags or corporate decisions to simplify the distribution of items. Woot used to have them with the buy 1, 2, or 3 buttons but people were always griping that they wanted 3 but chose 1 by mistake and Woot was usually kind enough to add in the extra craps. I imagine that got kind of old and they decided to just sell three at a whack and be done with it. Woot can't be making any money on the bags; it's a loss-leader and a way to keep interest in the rest of the Woot-off at a high level.

Best crap I think I've gotten was a Kodak 5100 color printer/scanner/copier that was new in the box. We use it all the time at the house (thanks again, Woot!). I've gotten monkeys in them (we have a rainbow assortment at the house from the bags plus the ones that I've purchased) and lots of earphones. I even got a Sansa once along with a digital camera/MP3 player and some portable speakers. The Pink Panther DVD collection was nice, too. Most of the stuff winds up as gifts to friends and relatives or donations to yard sales and the like.

No crap yet. If I ever get 'lucky' enough to get a Bindle of Carrots it wouldn't surprise me at all to find it's a roll of toilet paper.

Woot shopper since 2005, so multiple Bees Oh See.

  • Best: Bag included two Power Squids, a Sansa, a Looj, and a Laptop, among other things.
  • Worst: Mini-Tripod, Slinky Jr. and kid-sized earbuds, plus official Woot paper bag. Replacement bag for a lost-in-shipping 23.1lb. box! On second thought, the official bag wasn't half bad.
  • Weirdest: 131 Popeye posters, all identical.

I beat the game 4 times back in april, but there was a glitch and got an error that prevented the order button from appearing. I was very very angry.

Came the closest last wootoff. Actually was a "ridiculously large button" press away when the sold out notification appeared.

I have gotten two bundles of crap. The first one was full of all kinds of little things but my managers all took stuff from it. No one took the breast pump. LOL

The second one was nice also but the best was a deep fryer. It was really nice.

I have hard time getting one now because of the firewall on the computers at work.

Well I've only received one Bundle of Crops so far, thou I hope to get more My Bundle of Crops was pretty awesome for a first time.

A broken RC NISSAN GT-R car.
An umbrella hat.
A bag with a crab on it.
A shock absorber for your tennis racket.
Star Wars headphones.
Two rubbery fun toy balls.

I ended up working with my dad to fix the RC car. We took it apart, soldered it, made a pin for the gear, and put it all back together. Thing works great and is a blast:D I also gave the umbrella hat to my dad, and the bag to my mom Overall, awesome Bundle of Crops! Thanks Woot!

Between my wife and I, we've snagged about 20 or so of them. The early ones were more interesting than the later ones which seemed to mostly be chock full of craptacular cordless phones.

Higher prices AND crappier blanks, no thank you

I'm in Alabama, actually. Usually it's just dumb luck and/or persistence that seems to get them. I was able to get one today by continually reloading/resending in the face of the 503 errors until I got a legitimate page where I could enter my code and click the gold buttons. I have also found that Firefox works like a charm for me while IE is only okay and Chrome stinks for getting the bag, though I don't know why. Other people have reported different results with the same browsers. Several of the bags I've gotten have been the special day bags, such as April Fool's day. I get them over AT&T DSL at work and Charter cable modem at home so I don't think the carrier makes much difference.
