Wooo, my Bindle of Carrots is here, it was delivered super early in the morning. But I have to wait until tonight to open it up. It's a big box, but it's super light so I'm expecting some quality crap. =D

I try not to look at the thread for the Bundle of Crops because generally I live so far away that mine comes a week or so later than most others, and I like to have the contents be a surprise, especially since lately a large amount of the bags are mostly filled with the same items.

I am greatly saddened and moderately annoyed that for some reason it was necessary to have in the @WootChatter box on the right hand side someone's tweet about their Bundle of Crops contents. Now the surprise is mostly gone, and I am a bit disappointed that it's now much less of a surprise. The whole fun of the box is the surprise inside for me, and I'm not happy that part of it got taken away.

Please, in the future Woot be considerate of not putting spoilers in the tweet box, Bundle of Crops are hard enough to come by, and for the people who like the surprise to stay a surprise right until the very end its disheartening to have it taken away in part.

Got the same exact box as scottfi (but I can't do pics on woot for some reason so I'm doing mine as a reply to his hoping it will show pic). plus i got 12 bags of texas air.

Well, my Bundle of Crops is out for delivery -- which means I'll get it around 1:30 am when I get home from the football game with my band kids...

I may just wait until Saturday morning to open it so my kids can share in the "egg-sight-mint" of an unknown gift.

Has *anyone* had a letter in their box yet? Either letters have gone to people who aren't posting here, or this is the longest we've gone in (in all three of the Bundle of Crops I've won - including this one) that we haven't yet seen a letter.

This could be promising for those of us who don't live close to Woot and have to wait a long time for our Bundle of Crops

Alternately, it could mean Woot has done the ultimate cheap-out/cop-out and sent no letters at all this time - which would be extremely disappointing, of course.

At 1:27pm my box had arrived at the PO located across my job. It is not suppose to be delivered till Monday, but luckily for me I know all the workers there and I just walked on over there and batted my eyelashes and they gladly handed over my box. :-)

After reading what everyone was getting I was not really all that excited about acquiring the box of carp this time around. But once I held that box in my hands the excitement overwhelmed me again. I could not wait to get back into my office and ripped it open!

Let me say the my UNMARKED box was marked as weighing 2.1lb. I am extremely excited about the Honey Do List cuz my hubby's memory is shot and this way he can't tell me "oh I am so sorry sweetie...I forgot, wish I had written it down somewhere".

I also had the CC: in my email but no letter or nothing out of the ordinary...except the plain unmarked box (insert eerie sounding music here).

Oh and my box was labeled as delivery confirmation required as well, but I did not have to sign for it. They just had to scan it.

Same crap here in California as everyone else ('3.4lb' box): seashell bag, kid's growth poster, deadly board game, two booze bottle rings, and the best part is the two squishy balls that I will throw around the house to get attention when needed.

Judging from your awesome picture I believe that I got the black foam packaging insert that goes into that box. I believe someone else received a matching black foam insert also from the CC: email group. Now if only we can find the person who happens to have the cardboard slide cover that goes over your box our Mysterious package will be complete and we will win the ultimate prize. A recepticle capable of safely transporting a bag of Texas Air.

The status of my Box Of Clutter as of 9:33 this morning has changed to in transit; Tallahassee, FL. Well, I live in Tallahassee, so what the crap does that mean? How hard is it to find a post office? Must be tricky, because my expected delivery date is still Tuesday 10/4!

Oh, and I too would like to know if TPW actually does still send out letters. First hand knowledge would be best. ;)

You are right, it is off topic and probably doesn't belong here.

Seeing all the same crap is just kinda disappointing and stale. I can see why staff is asking for some creative spice in the pictures, because the crap doesn't really offer any anymore.

But to be fair, they did change the name from "Random Crap" to "Bindle of Carrots". I guess, same as before, when it was "Random Crap", you get what you pay for.

Oh I agree. I remember the days of scratched MP3 players, talking Reagan dolls, a ball of tangled headphones, salvageable electronics and overall FABULOUS CRAP. I would record videos and take pictures with the family opening the Bundle of Crops Those were big special events - kinda like Christmas morning. Today was not like Christmas morning.

I will be back again to drive myself nuts and get a few more grays trying to acquire another mysterious box of carp cause I just can't get enough!
