Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I can live with the Middlers, it's the ones who won't put the cap back on who cause me to test the edge of my knives.

That's why you get Mentadent and everyone HAS to push from the top, and the cap is attached, although not self-closing. Someone should add that, and they'd have the perfect toothpaste solution.

Please do not increment my Quality Posts count. 69 is a good place to be. ;-)

Tom's of Maine Whole Care Wintermint gel, mmmm. Can't stand that nasty sickly sweet saccharine stuff in commercial toothpastes.

Clove if I can find it anywhere (didn't Tom's once make clove toothpaste?) or orange (crest I think). I dislike the 'minty' odor or most toothpaste.

If you have issues with people who have problems doing toothpaste tubes the same as you, buy them their own tube. It can make a friendship or marriage last just a little longer with one thing less to resent. (My spouse is a middler)

Any way, I like the mint flavor in the 8oz tube of Colgate Total. Better than the 5.8 oz size. I don't know why they are different...

Jasons toothpaste is the best tasting natural toothpaste with no bad stuff included inside the tube like floride!
I love their mint flavor the best but they are also the ones
Who make the vanilla you were asking about!

So does anyone actually know what brand that glittery stuff was? I remember it being really good.

Have you been eating that sandwich again?

I definitely enjoy Bacon flavored toothpaste, preferably from Mr. Bacon. But, I think Pickle flavored and Cupcake flavored toothpaste definitely deserve an honorable mention: http://helablog.com/2011/02/mr-bacon%E2%80%99s-bacon-toothpaste-for-that-fresh-bacon-feeling/

As the spouse of a middler and an anti-capper, I can say with some confidence that this is a Quality Post.

Haha brand..no. but at walmart, drugstores, wherever you get toothpaste there's always a kids section. Check it out, you may find it! I always had the blue raspberry glitter, tasted like jolly ranchers

Someone has been watching Dr. Strangelove too often.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control listed water fluoridation as one of the ten great public health achievements of the 20th century. Fluoride isn't "bad stuff" and "all natural" isn't necessarily "good stuff". Try rinsing after brushing with a big glass of all natural hemlock juice and see how much better it is.

My glittery stuff as a kid was Crest brand. I might just have to pick up a tube and relive my youth.

Jasmine - ran out of toothpaste in Italy. They have very unusual (for Americans) flavors.

As a kid (and by "kid" I mean until I went to college and was too embarrassed to buy it) I always loved the bubblegum flavor kind. I've learned to like mint ok now.

But if given the choice, I still go for the bubblegum kind at the dentist's for my teeth cleaning.

I just use the standard mint flavor toothpaste, but when I'm pregnant, I have to use "Spongebob Bubblemint" toothpaste. If I didn't, I would never make it through brushing my teeth.

If you ever lived with or loved anyone who didn't brush their teeth regularly, you would quickly get over the middle-squeezing or anti-cap blues. Just the fact that they BRUSH makes up for all those other failings.
And flavor doesn't matter, although I like that vanilla mint a lot.
I once gave my dad a Scotch-flavored toothpaste and he loved that. It was supposed to be a gag gift, but he loved his Scotch, even first thing in the morning.

Toms of Maine anuse (licorice) flavored toothpaste is amazing. The minty stuff makes me gag, and the anise does much less so, but it is very effervescent.

They make a kids strawberry toothpaste that is even better, though.
