3.0 is only on tablets

My Droid X has a 4.3" screen. I just can't see the value in something with such a small screen that is not a telephone.

Brilliant! but is it as good as the 7" and you can euro-hack it to take phone calls?

I'm 99.9% sure these will be rootable to install cyanogen or another android os version as per the recent gtablet. honeycom may not e worth it on a small thing like this

Thinking about getting this or one of the cheap tablets on ebay that are about $150. Any ideas people?

This is NOT a phone. It's referred to as a "media player."

Size-wise, looks like it's between an iPod Touch and an iPad. The only charm it has for me is playing Flash. Looks cool if you want that kind of thing.

Think of this as a 5 inch tablet. It's not a phone...though you could certainly use Skype over WiFi to place calls.

I'm pretty sure it's samsungs single core 1ghz hummingbird processor, but I'm not sure, as I didn't think this would ever be available in the U.S.

Pfft, Android is totally lamestream. I use a Touchpad. It runs WebOS; you've probably never heard of it before.

Might be compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich, but I'd suggest you get comfortable with Froyo as Samsung doesn't have a great track record with updating their phones in a prompt manner.

Better than an touch, in my opinion, but then I have the first version of this phoneless phone... only with the phone.

It has a GPS chip but you'll need an active Internet connection to download maps using Google Maps, Labs in Google Maps allows you to precache a route is you are on WiFi at the time.

I have a nokia. nobody uses them any more. I'm uberretro hipstamatic.

I come from an Apple free household and missed out on the TouchPad deals, so this could be a 'somewhere in the middle' thing for me.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S that I got from T-Mobile. It has all the features but no flash and it is a phone. How come this is different than Woot's current offering?

Way better than the iTouch. Supports awesome formats, bigger screen, doesn't require iTunes to put music on it. The list goes on.

weird. i didn't even know they made Android iPod touches.

CyanogenMod does not currently have an official release for this model. Do not attempt to install the Galaxy S phone ROM on it, you may end up with a brick.

This is NOT a phone people.. It is basically a Samsung Galaxy S with the phone portion removed, and only WiFi is available. No GSM / 3G / CDMA connectivity.

Damn, I think I have to buy this thing. Had a Touch, thought it was too small. Had a 10" tablet, thought it was too big. This one might be the Goldilocks for me. I had no idea a 5 incher existed.
