First droid-vice? first for me too.
I have so many plans for it.
See if I can use it to control media in my computer through wifi.
See what video formats can support, it would be awesome if I ever manage to play my MKVs in it.
I'm pretty much set on internet, because my optimum WIFI ID and password work on Time Warner Cable wifi as well (don't know nor care why).
My nerd side is very exited.
Yup, it's my first Android device. Very excited. I went to my local Office Depot and tried some Android tablets. They were pretty cool and fast. They did not have problem rendering my web site, so I am happy about that. I have an iPad 2 at home as well as iPod Touch 4th Gen, and both of which tell a different story. The web pages rending on these two device are slow and sometime even hang. I guess it's because I overdone with CSS text shadowing. Probably need to tone done a bit.
I am glad you are too excited about this awesome 5" device. That is huge as compared to iPod Touch 4th Gen which is only 3.5". Beside learning the ins and outs of Android OS, the only plan I have for this device is to write a simple Android app and install on it. I am new to Android development, so this is a good entry device.
I am also new to Woot. As a matter of fact, this is my very first purchase with them. I understand that they will ship the device within 5 business days. So yes, I need to take that "patient" pill. LOL.
Take care.
