Matt Damon.

I'm actually all for Hollywood celebrities in politics. In biblical times, a country's leader actually WAS often a celebrity loved for their artistic talents. I think this is the way to go. "Politician" should never have become a profession in itself.

Politicians are corruptible by definition as they need to lie and pander in order to become liked, and are very swayable by their own personal profit.

Hollywood celebrities are already loved, powerful, and wealthy beyond anything that could be gained from corrupt politics.

So I say let's pick two of the smartest Hollywood celebrities and have them run. I bet you a set of Buckeyballs the country will never see a better change.

Have you been eating that sandwich again?

If the election were held today,I would vote for Herman Cain. He is right, we need a person with some business sense, as well as a sense of humor, and not another politian. We also need a president that has the guts to stand up for Israel.

I'd actually consider that myself, but I think I'd be terrified he'd end up Rickrolling Syria as a joke and accidentally start a nuclear war.

Hi, I'm one of the writers. My powers are limited but I'll do what I can.

Ron Paul!

Why are you doubly ignoring him in a poll claiming not to be based on lamestream media?

Jon Stewart does a funny segment on how ridiculously Ron Paul is being ignoring by and even outright lied about by media!

Obama is at least trying. He'd have accomplished much more had the republicans not taken over congress, rejecting every bill he brings up. Did you read Obama's last bill? It would actually get rid of the tax cuts for the rich putting more money into the government system, tremendously helping with the deficit problem we are facing, and it would create jobs by making corporations expand to make up for their loses in taxes. It was rejected, of course, by Congress. We screwed ourselves over voting all republicans in 2010. If Michelle Bachman takes office, you'll find me in Ethiopia. I'll be much better off.

All the people who are home in the middle of the day voted for Obama.

Typical.

Glad I get updates or I'd have never seen the poll.

You know...I just scanned through a page or two of posts and see Ron Paul more than any one. Woot needs to rerun this poll with Ron Paul in the list of options and see what the outcome is. He's at least considered a viable candidate by many of the people here.

It is scary to read the comments here.

Ron Paul is consistent, yes, but he is also a nut job. Not a Palin or Bachman level nutjob but a nut regardless. And who in their right mind would vote for Cain?

My body won't let me vote for a 'republican', there is just something about their hatred for minorities (especially brown ones) and science that makes me go into convulsions.

It doesn't help that Romney flip flops (remember John Kerry?) and that Texas is sending us another C student.

I don't like Obama, but he is a the best option out there currently. If anything I plan to vote for a third part candidate (if any appear).

I'm just disappointed in my fellow wooters, I guess I expected too much. Perhaps Americans are as ignorant as they say.

Ron Paul is just saying things that make too much sense. The problem is that you've been hearing other nut jobs talk for so long, the guy who finally makes sense looks like the nut.
