Just curious, I've seen a lot of people say that they have seen theirs shipped, and a couple people have said that OTHER people have received theirs. Can anyone actually confirm that they've received one? It might be in the backlog of pages... I really don't feel like reading through 9 pages though.
It's very disappointing. I don't understand why we had to pay for shipping if we're not even going to get our fairly expensive orders in the next couple days. Normally I'm very patient, but I had hoped to be able to use my Xoom for class this week, instead of having to lug around my laptop for notes. And I have no classes next week. Kinda makes me wish I'd just waited a week and bought one in store.
Of course, as soon as I get my Xoom, I'll be more than ecstatic. Oh the spastic attention span of a college student...

It isn't a tablet, its a device that let's you access Amazon's "services" and by services I do mean things they make you pay money for. The only thing I and most of my friends I know, use Amazon for is the free daily apps on occasion when they're not utter crap, and buying things cheaper than anywhere else has them online. An overfeatured e-reader with Android 2.1 and a custom UI + 8GB limit of internal storage + lack of any Google support whatsoever = fail.
Also, wanted to repeat what this guy said. DOn't get me wrong, the Fire is a great device... assuming you love Amazon's services. Personally, I'd rather have the Honeycomb experience.
