That's why I asked if it worked on non twist-off bottles. I assume it is designed for twist-off bottles. We have an electric wine bottle opener that pulls the cork out and then you reverse the twist action and it spits the cork out of the opener. Slick!

Now that I reread the product info, it appears it is design for pop-off bottles, so it will actually work for both...

Bad score on Amazon. Outside is metal but inside is plastic and spring doesn't last long

Agree w/ woot - props for using a Shiner Bock, but it is a twist off...

You could've gone for a Lone Star instead - now that's a famed Texas beer that requires a bottle opener.

Or a St. Arnolds... but you may not drink that too much in Dallas... or Seattle or whatev
