Who in the world would spend 750.00 on three of these?! I mean....are you going to plan on making them all clean in unison, like some sick, twisted version of Fantasia???

It just boggles the mind!

Well you can hack them to be spybots. With cameras and stuff.

If it worked on my cats, I would totally be in for three...I'm guessing the cats would be rough on it and I'd need backups. Darn

After buying 2 Roombas and 1 Scooba off of Woot ... I now have 2 dead Roombas and 1 dead Scooba.

The Scooba worked well on my tile floors ... when it worked.

Recommend against buying ANY iRobot product ...

Someone might buy it from them for the low low price of 350 dollars a pop. That's 300 dollars profit right there if you can get that much.

We have two Roombas with dead batteries, so we took a shot at a Neato (who comes up with the names for these companies?) ... love the technology, and one robot easily does our whole house, but it still has its own issues.

I have owned the Roomba and the Scooba. Both were great. When I bought the new house though, the Scooba had to go. I have hardwood. Do not use the scooba on hardwood. It will not end well. The Roomba is awesome. I had an issue with something, they sent me a box, shipped it on Monday and they had a replacement to me by Tuesday. So all you people talking about how horrible they are, obviously have never owned one. So, if you've never owned one, keep your uneducated comments to yourself k, thanks.

One note-

If your kids like leaving Pokemon or Magic the Gathering cards on the kitchen floor, it could get messy for the Scooba.

Another note-

Don't attempt to use the scooba to breathe underwater. Just sayin.

I've actually been quite impressed with my Scooba. I have two large dogs and a three year old that like to track dirt in the house. I run it once or twice a week while I am geting myself and the child ready and it keeps the floors clean with minimal effort. The downfalls I have found is that they do leave too much water on the surface for a hardwood floor, the actual cleaning fluid is difficult to find and expensive when you do find it, and it does not do corners well, so you must do those yourself occaisonally.

I use vinegar and it cleans fine, I also find it has no problem with dog hair. Legos however do occaisonally cause a hindrance to effective operation.

Same scenario here, except we only bought one of each. Both are dead. Waste of money.

We have way too much cat litter on our floors to make this a feasible investment. I sweep everyday and can barely keep up with the constant barrage of litter in our house. Having five indoor cats will do that though.

Signatures are harshing my mellow.

I once spilled an entire mixing bowl of pudding in my kitchen, and tasked this scuba to clean up the huge mess. It ended up smearing the pudding absolutely everywhere, and unfortunately, it was hershey brown.

You can only imagine the picture when my in laws just happened to drop by that same exact moment.

I love my Scooba (because I hate mopping floors). I bought mine here about two years ago, use it regularly, and I've never had a problem. I don't buy the expensive cleaning fluid - the instructions say right in there that you can use a bit of vinegar instead, and that's what I do. I have a long-haired dog who sheds fabulously and two long-haired cats, and I do sweep lightly before letting the Scooba go to work. (And I do clean the filters and brushes after each use - no biggie).

For storage, I mounted a pull-out rack in one of my kitchen base cabinets, and made a small cutout and installed an electrical outlet right in there. The virtual walls fit on the rack too, and the Scooba is always charged and ready to go that way. I like it a lot.

Really, I'm not blue, I don't have a ratty beard, and I NEVER wear pink.

Check out the Scooba Blog at scoobawasher.com and see that the comments are 6:1 negative on this product. The main beef seems to be that it will break down within a few weeks to a few months and when out of warranty will be too expensive to repair. Bottom line - stay away from this product until (or if) the bugs are worked out.
