If you cheated to order a Box of Cobwebs by changing the web address to one of woot's other sites like wine.woot, were you able to order multiples? Like, could you place five orders?

I've always wondered if I gave up too soon in the past, and I've always thought to myself, "Maybe if I'd only tried a bit harder."

Well this time as I sat in my plain white shirt and snug fitting boxer briefs staring at my man cave computer screens I said, "Not today!"

Took me what had to be almost an hour...didn't think I'd have any luck, but kept trying. (And trying, and trying...) Seems like the servers have gone downhill in the last year. This time it kept giving me ish about my acct info and payment info...Stale Candy.
Even when, by some dumb luck, I got all the way to the order confirmation screen, it took FOR-EVER to process, and then it took me to a scrambled acct info screen. Never got confirmation until a few minutes ago when an email landed in my Inbox.
After a year of trying, finally got one!

After I posted that I had scored my 10th Bucket of Candycorn today…I thought wow I have spent $80.00 on… well…crap. So I have to ask myself just why I watch the woot off just waiting for that paper bag with the question mark to appear. Is it because it is so hard to come by? Is it because I feel wonderful that woot will accept my $8.00 (if I get lucky), is it the sweaty palms as I type in my code, or is it because I want that amazing letter from threepiecewoot to frame and put in my office.

Will all this deep thinking keep me from continuing to try in the future? No, probably not

Just curious why other people buy the Box of Cobwebs.

I'm pretty sure the trick is to open a bunch of new tabs (like 20 at a time). 99.9% of them will time out and crash (when they do, open 20 more), but occasionally you can get to the order screen (don't forget to enter your credit card security code) and click the confirm button. Open a bunch more tabs to get through to the page that you can click final confirm (click that one once or possibly multiple charges) and you win.

Imagine an entire auditorium of people trying to get through a single fire exit at once.

I don't know how, but received a confirmation email that I got my 7th Brains over Chocolate since 2005. I reached the large "But It" button three times but never reached the confirmation screen. I always ended up back at the Item screen. I was very surprised when the confirmation email arrived at 5:13 PM. Woot!
