Day 9

Dear Journal,

It's the beginning of day nine on this lonely island of placeholders. Getting lonelier by the minute it seems. People are disappearing one by one and I fret that I soon may be the only one left here. It's a very unnerving experience.

Weight does not exist here, there are no dimensions. It's as though you're stuck in blank nothingness in limbo with no perception of where you are. Do I even exist? What does it mean to exist? Einstein would have had a field day.

My hopes are up today, however, that this may be my last day here; that soon food will have flavor again, sleep will come easy, life will be worth living again!

If you don't hear from me, you'll know what has happened.

I read that in a dramatic voice in my head. Kudos!

I still have a placeholder as well.

4.7 pounds, here on the 25th. No dimensions.

Maybe it's a cardboard cutout of Justin Bieber? That would look great in my boss' office and would probably float around the whole building within the week.

Ahhhh USPS says "sorting complete" - but will it make it on the truck today?? Expected delivery is tomorrow... but I have hope!

Finally got a shipment notification! But I'm still stuck at 1lbs NA x NA x NA. Really hoping it comes today, since it would be quite unfortunate for my lovely Box of Cobwebs to be delivered to my work on SATURDAY.

3.7 lbs. due Oct 22 to Arlington. It is already in city though so hopefully I will get it a day early. I wont be home tomorrow to open it and I will have to hurt my son if he opens it.

OK so we got a 13.7-pounder (24.2 in. x 12.6 in. x 12.2 in.), a 2.1-pounder (14.2 in. x 10.2 in. x 8.6 in.), and a 5.7-pounder (16.2 in. x 12 in. x 10.6 in.) coming to our office today. It'll be a crappy party!

My Box of Cobwebs arrived today. Wasn't expecting it until Monday.

My co-worker had a 3.4 lb box. He received the same items except he was missing the marionette.

16.5 in. x 12.5 in. x 10.6 in. finally updated but still shows 1 lb but like the one I received last month the weight never did update.

Ditto, mine is only showing 1 pound. Not enough for any good crap. Let's hope I'll be luckier!

OIC, so my 0.7 pound package could actually be a letter saying something big is coming? that would be nice. Mine is not scheduled to arrive until the 27th, so I'll have to report back when I get something.

I live just west of Fort Worth and the estimated delivery is Monday, the 24th. In the past it's arrived a day early, but today is not looking good. It's already later than the usual mail delivery, however, the mailman hasn't been here today...

OK... 13.7 pounder was a soup maker, gaming keyboard, plus the standard crap (backpack, watches, experiment kit etc)

5.7 pounder was shamwow!, rub n color solve the mystery (in a box that unfortunately resembles a tablet...), plus standard crap.

2.1 pounder was standard crap plus an m&m usb drive.
