I really wish my package heading for Buffalo was on the same vehicle as your package heading for Buffalo. Mine is still in Leetsdale, PA (c'mon, really, you couldn't have hung a left in Columbus and headed north.. dayum)

Anybody have a list of the "Woot Holidays" that usually have Bags of Crap? I have heard people mention April Fool's Day, Independence Day, Woot's Birthday, and Christmas. Just curious if Halloween and Thanksgiving fall in there. Also, are the Bags of Crap usually given away at midnight for these? Thanks in advance!!!

wait, did you really get a letter? post a photo of it...you might really be getting a car which would be insane...granted no promise it will be in working order but still...a car!

Also, what was the weight on your package?

So I live just a few blocks from the local FedEx facility, does anyone know if they'll let you intercept the package there before it gets to USPS? From all the horror stories I've read of the handoff and packages being lost, I'd just as soon pick it up from FedEx myself.

I'd guess the same but considering old arcade games have shown up as letter items I wouldn't put anything past the woot gods.

Just sayin'.

Ok, my 6.7 #er had maintained its weight until it got to USPS. Now, it has deflated and got down to 3.9 lbs.

Although, I have been expecting to receive it tomorrow, it seems like it is currently out for delivery.

What is up with all the weight changes this time around?

EDIT- 1 min after I posted, I got a call from the front desk that there's a package for me.

1x Woot box
5x Texas Air
4x Yellow Breo Watches
1x Food to go set (with missing handle)
1x Gwen's Nest flower reusable bag

Got my confirmation e-mail on my wife's Box of Cobwebs this morning.

So, mine is: 3.4lbs 16"x12.5"x10.6" Est. Delivery 10/27/11

Hers is: 7.8lbs 18"x14.6"x14.2" Est. Delivery 10/31/11

Not that much larger and almost twice the weight. I'm assuming mine is the standard stuff. I'm curious what her's is going to be.

My 7.4 lb Box of Cobwebs arrived today and made me laugh. The stuff I get I didn't even know existed. My first bag last month I got digital camera binoculars and this time I get a foot flush. lol. I can't wait to show my parents that. I also got a board game called Sputnik which made me laugh since I was acting like I was part of mission control on the new woot website launch yesterday. The rest of the contents were...

Barbie bookbag
USB mirror
2 Breo watches in a greyish color
Little Labs Animals

Are we supposed to get a brown paper bag with the question mark? I haven't gotten one yet. lol.

No matter. Thanks woot!

Okay here is my luck with the Box of Cobwebs

Last month I was able to score a Box of Cobwebs . . . one week to the day of scoring the Box of Cobwebs I was T-boned on the drivers side of my SUV because some knucklehead decided to run a red light . . .

This month I scored a Box of Cobwebs and again, one week to the day I was rear ended by another knucklehead that decided they didn't need to STOP at the stop sign and wait for traffic.

Is this the new trend to receiving crap?

Not only do I pay $8 to receive mystery crap, but I get hit one week later by knuckleheads?

TPW, is this your way to keep me from scoring crap next month?

At any rate, they are sending me replacement crap. Woot customer service really is the best!

That is really cool. I probably would have just said, whatever, but it's cool to know that they're willing to make sure you get the crap you bought. Even if it is crap.
