Dear BFs Box of Cobwebs

1x Baywatch Barbie Backpack
1x Little Labs Animals experiment kit
2x breo watches, purple
1x USB lighted mirror
1x Super Duper Kiddo goals chart

My Box of Cobwebs

1x Baywatch Barbie Backpack
1x Little Labs Animals experiment kit
2x breo watches, gray
1x USB lighted mirror
1x footflush
1x Family Fun Batik kids board game

All in all a crappy crap because we don't have kids but we'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Box of Cobwebs are always fun.

I've decided I'm going to send three piece woot his own Box of Cobwebs this week so he can experience the joy and the agony.

OH OH OH, anyone who got a woot canvas tote I'd gladly trade anything from my Box of Cobwebs for it. I also have a spare Melissa & Doug Prince marionette. Let me know!

1 Little Labs animals experiment kit
1 USB Lighted Mirror
2 lime green Breo watches
1 Cars 2 Story Reader
1 Lego Star Wars R2D2 Watch
12 recycled tote bags
12 bags of Texas air

My box
1 USB Lighted Mirror
1 Grow your own Vegetable Garden Kit
1 Ninja Professional The Warrior
1 recycled tote bag

Mine arrived today!

Was 5.2 lbs:

7 x Texas Air
1 x Baywatch Barbie Backpack
2 x Breo lime green watches (one broken, but good for the cat who likes to eat these kind of bands)
1 x Little Labs Animal Experiment Kit
1 x USB Mirror thing
1 x FOOT FLUSH!
1 x Medium plain grey t-shirt

Not too shabby at all. Does it make up for having purchased a Touchpad on Woot days before the firesale? A little.

Thanks! She's the best dog ever. She sat there like a champ for picture after picture! (I liked the profile shots better, so those won. )

I believe there was a HUGE fiasco back on April Fools Day, and woot! made good on all the short crapped baggies.. Mine had a couple dozen cedar planks, and that was it... One woot employee claimed I had more than three craps, but TPW intervened, and agreed that it was one item, and sent me some true crap, reminiscent of the good old days of woot..

This is my first Bucket of Candycorn, but what's the deal with the "letter from woot" people mention here? It seems like a big deal if you get one.

The infamous letter, which does not appear in every Box of Cobwebs (or at least is not reported in every Box of Cobwebs forum), is a letter informing the lucky recipient that the recipient's third crap is too large to fit in the box and will be shipped separately. The separate item usually arrives on one or more pallets by freight, and can range from tens of items of otherwise normal crap items, to a pallet full of car wax, to multiple pallets of "action figures" to (someone correct me if I'm wrong) two coffee makers received each day for something like ten days, to a couple of 40+ inch LCD TVs, etc. The excitement of waiting for the Box of Cobwebs is completely renewed, but is super-sized!

Lots of fun (wish I could get one), and fun to read about as they happen.

Looks like I scored this time around. I got:

2 Green Breo Skin Watches - 1 with a dying battery
1 Vegetable Garden Kit
1 USB Mirror, Pink
1 Flower Tote Bag

All of that is rather crappy, but what surprised me the most is the last item - an Unitool cordless electric screwdriver! I already know I'm going to use this for years to come. The built-in LED is genius! I can finally stop using my parents' tools as this will do the job. Gonna keep the set in my car for sure.

There are 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Are the BOC's no longer his project, is he on vacation, too busy to talk "crap"? I need...no I DEMAND!...ok not demand, but where the heck is he at?

I believe he is in a 3.5 lb box in Grove City Ohio. He is coming to my place on Friday to hand deliver a letter to me. Then we'll play the Deadliest Catch board game.

So does multiple of one item = one crap?

I ask because my Box of Cobwebs came with:

7 x Texas Air
2 x Breo Red watches
1 x USB Lighted Mirror
1 x Gwen's Nest Tote Bag

that is all...

so is that 2 Craps and a bag?

or 3 craps and a bag?

Ah, same as me. :D I don't feel so bad now, although I got a Barbie backpack that I'll find a niece to take.

But yeah, I got 2x Breo watches, one red and one yellow
1x USB lighted mirror
1x backpack.

Ah well, thus the nature of crap I guess. At least it was a heck of an adventure trying to get the blasted thing, lol. Next time will be better.. or not... crap is as crap is. mwahaha.

Well, so far mine hasn't hit a shrink ray. Holding steady at 4.0 lbs as it passed through KC last night. Should be its last FedEx stop before it hits USPS. Looking like I might be on schedule for a early delivery if it arrives and is sorted today, then out for delivery tomorrow! Hurry up USPS!

I was totally excited about that score. Not only does it seem like a unique score (last Box of Cobwebs was very standard), but I'm going to try to use it to make my own baby food! (1 month 'til solids)

carpan wrote:She looks a little dejected. There wasn't anything in the Box of Cobwebs for her

Yes, she was hoping there was going to be an announcement of pet.woot.com or at least a snuggie to lay on/eat. She loves to nom a good blanket.

3.8 lbs
15.7 in. x 12.2 in. x 10.8 in.

1 Baywatch Barbie Backpack
1 Little Labs Animals experiment kit
2 BREO Skin watch - blue
1 USB lighted mirror
1 Pro-Form Heart Rate Monitor with Chest Belt
1 Cookie Monster "The Binge" bag (same image as this shirt http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=9649)
14 bags of Texas air

My wife loves the watch and USB mirror. She's started wearing the watch yesterday, and she's taking the USB mirror to work. We both love the Cookie Monster bag, and I have a feeling the Barbie Backpack will make it's way into a White Elephant gift come Christmas time.

All told this has to be our best baggie ever. And, as usual, the best part is the anticipation waiting on it to get here.

My Box of Cobwebs was 4.6 pounds of:

4x Packets of Texas air (green)
2x Breo watches (blue)
1x Light up mirror (pink)
1x Tshirt, that happens to be my size (tan)
1x Baywatch Barbie backpack (pink)

and...

1x Acoustic Research Xsight Touch universal remote control (black). I'm not sure if anyone else has gotten one of these. The reviews on Amazon are mixed, but after using it for a few hours I think this remote is worth every penny I paid.

The remote is my favorite part, my daughter loves the backpack.

After finding it's way to the wrong post office, my Carpo showed up late yesterday. (Really nice of a carrier at the neighboring town's post office to hand deliver it after his route was done!)

~3 lbs. with the normal stuff:

14x Sealed Texas Air
1x Baywatch Barbie Bag
2x Breo Skin Watch (Blue)
1x USB Light up Mirror
1x Super Duper Kiddo Chore Chart (girls version)
1x Animals Experiment Lab

My 5-year old daughter has been proudly wearing the watches, shoving a bunch of toys in the backpack, and is looking forward to going on a hike to try out the Animal Lab.

So, I guess, it was a good haul...for her!

Thanks for the Crap Woot! Looking forward to the next one!

My kids got a great box. 9.4lbs

It contained:
*2 of the Breo watches
*1 animals lab kit
*1 question mark woot tote
*1 usb light up mirror
*1 Lycosa gaming keyboard - refurb (haven't taken it out of the box yet)
*1 baywatch barbie backpack (Does no one else find that incredibly inappropriate for kids? My 2 year old saw it first and was thrilled. She doesn't know about Barbie but she loves backpacks and pink things. We're gonna encourage her to put stickers on the baywatch barbie part. If we'd seen it before her, it would've gone in the trash. If you don't have kids and are thinking of gifting it, you may want to ask the parents first.)
*1 memorex ipod dock speaker thing missing the power cord. (It sounds pretty bad, but my 8 year old loves it. Plus we have an old ipod with a broken headphone jack, so that works out great)

My kids are thrilled so I'm happy. Thanks, woot!

Their dad also got a regular box with nothing unique. We're happy.
