are Lenovo laptops any good? never brought from that brand before. looking for a lightweight laptop that i can bring to school, but this one weights 4.9 pounds.

Sorry fellow woofers but this is not a deal at all...
I have the newer model with the Sandy Bridge chip and I got it for 270 at a local B&M store. Cough cough...cofryselecough
Keep your money and look around first.
Now... for the price, it is a very entry level laptop. Only thing I do not like are the hinges and plastic case. Hinges feel like they will give in about a year if lucky... but the case is very thin plastic with lots of bend to the whole body.

Close... the processor on the BB one is an AMD E-350 which is a dual core 1.6ghz. the woot one is a dual core 2.1ghz. But the specs on the BB one are better all around otherwise...
Tough call... I think I would lean to the BB one... for what one would use this class of laptop for, the 1.6g won't matter as much as the other specs.
