I would have bought 2 :/

Ramone11 wrote:For those of you who missed this, there is a link to the same set on the companies website. I happened to dilly-dally too long and missed this, but found a discount code if you order more than 1 set (more than $25). The code is: REPEAT5. This will make the cost almost as good as woots. I paid $3 more for 2 sets. That's what I get for dilly-dallying!

Set and Mystery Box, $28 shipped.

I was told you shouldn't put plastic in the microwave, so I just don't do it. It might emit some poison into your food. Not worth this risk, says me....

Have no fear folks, it won't be long before someone out there makes another claim that the new polymers used to replace BPA is even more harmful to your health. Thank you so much for that link! Was hemming and hawing, since I just ordered 3 more of the sets on the Woot! Off, but like some of these sizes as well. While dithering, they sold out. However, buying them through this link, I got 2 sets plus 2 mystery boxes for about $61 shipped. Might not seem like a better deal, but they ship directly to Alaska, saving me the $30ish it would have cost for my sister to ship them to me from IL, as she has with my previous 6 sets (and the current 3 that haven't gotten to her yet).

YAY! Thanks, Sparky28, for the link, and THANKS, Woot!, for turning me on to these GREAT storage containers!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this - but their customer service is outstanding. I had the same thing happen to one from a set off Amazon and I called. They promptly sent a replacement no questions asked.

I don't think putting plastic in the micro is a good idea in general but since these are BPA-free I guess it's better.

Are these glass or plastic?

Has anybody purchased a set of these before and if so, are they happy with their purchase?

Will these stain if I nuke spaghetti in them?

Did anyone else order the mystery set on Lock and Lock's main site? (Where you spend $9.99 and receive $40 worth of merchandise and have a chance to receive a $25 gift card.)

I ordered 2 mystery boxes and received a $25 gift card in each, in addition to the $40 worth of L&L merch.

Did this happen to anyone else, or should I try to hold onto this luck long enough to play the tables in Vegas?

And to still keep this Woot related, received my 3 I ordered from here. Excellent packing job. Only opened one box, but everything was there, and wow, are these some sturdy plastic!

Did you remember to count the lids separately? 14 containers, 14 lids.

disappointed in my purchase. why don't these stack? well i can sit them on top of each other but the ones of the same size do not fit into each other, taking up a LOT more space.
having this problem too?

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed too. These were advertised as stackable and they most definitely are not. I bought 2 sets assuming that they'd nest and I'd be able to keep them all, as it is I can barely store the one set without locking the small ones inside of the big ones, which incidentally makes them a hell of a lot less convenient to get to.

Shame on you Woot.

The containers are pretty nice, but the size assortment is really awkward. There's a metric ton of little dinky ones, and only 3 medium ones and 2 large ones. I'm fine with the 2 big ones, but I need way more medium ones. Those small guys aren't even big enough for a single serving of most leftovers.

WHERE'S MY STUFF WOOT? I realized today that I received shipping notification back on the 22nd. I checked and it appears my containers are taking a trip across the country IN THE WRONG DIRECTION and have been rerouted...TWICE! So what started in Dallas TX, has made its way to MO, IL, IN, IA...and it is supposed to be heading to CA. TOTALLY SCARED OF THE DARK NOW Woot?

I was a first time buyer and bought the lock & lock containers and was soooooooooo happy with them. I am just really upset that I only bought one set. Anyone know if they'll come back? This time I'll buy many sets. I just needed to vent.

Stackable and nestable are not the same thing. The containers, with stuff in them, stack just fine in the fridge or cupboards, as advertised.

yeah, the" stackable" vs "nestable" distinction surprised me too, but I really like these. There were too many little ones in the assortment, but I'm finding them handy for odd stuff. Half a lemon? Leftover hunk of parmigiano? I've been Locking and Locking my way through the kitchen... who knows where this will lead?

Since there were only a few "medium" and "large" containers in this Woot! set, and those weren't very big, I just ordered 8 NESTING containers (8 ... but if you count the lids= 16) at QVC, which appear to hold a lot more volume-wise ( good for sugar, flour, chips, leftovers, etc). All four rectangles nest --with lids on; as do the 4 round bowls in the set. Careful, tho - even tho' they were offered at a close out price which was reasonable, shipping & tax added makes Woot's a better deal.

Please contact whoever is shipping this that the zip code should be 76248.
