So, Sir Isaac Newton once calculated that the apocalypse would start around 2060 (though he refused to give exact dates, not wanting to make Christianity look foolish if his figures were off). Does Harold Camping think he's a better mathematician than SIR ISAAC NEWTON, who invented THE CALCULUS, which is literally the foundation of all rocket science????

I think the Rev. Camping is a few stakes, a couple of poles, and a rain fly short of a tent -- if you know what I mean!

Of course the world will not end today. As every sane person knows, the world is not ending until December 23, 2012.

Mr. Camping was right, he was just off by a couple of days. Luckily the apocalypse only lasted about 8 hours, and looks to have got cleared up sometime this morning.

It is kinda funny, but this stuff makes me furious. The first time this Stale Candy came up with a date, one man committed suicide, a woman slashed the throats of her two kids, and millions of dollars were donated to this booooos 'church'. I really dread Dec. 2012, not because the world is going to end, but because of the stupid things these brain-dead believers do. People come up with these 'end dates' because they can make money and it makes them influential (for a time). The Mayan calendar cycles again, just like January 1st with ours. It has gone thru many cycles, and here we are!
