This week we're starting the pre-Halloween rush and most of us are finishing our costumes, but sometimes we need a reminder that business clothes are a costume all their own. When I started in the computer industry, it was all about the suit. IBM wore blue (Big Blue) suits, so everyone else in the industry had to wear blue suits with red ties.
Now, no one in the industry (except upper management) wears a suit. Preferred wardrobe is t-shirts and jeans. Professionalism is how you work, not what you wear...
