My daughter made mine out of a broken piece of dollhouse furniture. It doesn't have any buttons or service, but it's good enough for me.

Dell Venue Pro (WP7).. I might get the HTC Titan soon though.

Where's the "I Don't Own a Smartphone" option? I don't need my phone to surf the internet or whatever it is that smartphones do. I use my phone to call and text people.

Interesting to see the second largest percentage is unnamed in your survey. I wonder how much of that is HTC which produces many phones on the Verizon network? That's my brand, by the way....

It just makes and receives phone calls.
And it does it very well, with lots of battery time.

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY! It is the absolute be-all end-all of phones for gamers. Nothing else like it, and of course it's got a custom ROM and kernel, overclocked, and emulators galore. With Sony recently buying back the other 50% of Sony Ericsson, I can't wait for the next iteration of this phone.

Oh, I hardly use it as a phone, other than txting hahaha.

HTC with Windows Mobile Professional 6.5. Until I can get a cheap, unlocked Windows Phone 7 phone with a keyboard. (I'm cheap - I don't use data service. I use a Tracfone for $7/month.)

Ahh! Then you misinterpreted the question. Yes HTC makes Windows Phones, but one would hardly call them smart. You should participate if they ask, "What type of moderately intelligent phone do you have?"

Still rocking the original Palm Pre here. Bought it back in the summer of '09 when it was still $200, with a contract. The hardware is crap, gone through at least 7 or 8 of them, but I still haven't found anything I like more than webOS.

I actually got one of the free Nexus S's through Best Buy back in August, but I still prefer my Pre. The card system is what does it for me. I have yet to see any mobile device with the kind of multi-tasking capabilities that webOS has.

Just sad I'll never get that long-awaited webOS2 update.
