Yep, Tilt2...running window 6.5 with enough apps running on the today screen to see everything I need without actually having to swipe or scroll through screens...what a concept.

Let me pre-empt this.

1. iOS is easy to use, but you have to like what they want you to like.
2. Android is versatile, but requires knowledge to use.
3. Symbian is stable, but lagging in features.
4. WP7 is standardized, but lagging in apps.
5. Blackberry is great for business, but lagging in features and apps.
6. HTC (Windows Mobile 6x) aged very well, but is dying/dead.

Every OS has it's bonuses and detractions. Now SHUT UP.

I have the knowledge of Android, but prefer iOS simply because Android has serious fragmentation issues and isn't as polished.

HTC - nothing else! Had a samsung smartphone - practically had to beat the screen to death to get it to respond. Love my HTC - it is a little muffled sounding for me though with phone calls.

My phone is awesome. It cost me less than a couple pennies! Two cups and a taught string. Ahh, the good old days when we didn't need to have a blue tooth connected to our ear everytime we left the house so we can make it seem that we're so important, when in reality it's not even on sometimes or no one ever calls.

Remember those days when we used to get along just fine without a cell phone in our vehicles? I don't remember seeing anyone from The Waltons driving their beat up, rusting, barely running old model Ford with a cell phone in the glove compartment! Did they even have glove compartments? Oh well.

HTC
A Desire, to be exact...too bad the US Cellular build is frustrating as all get-out to root. Sigh. I guess I'll just keep clearing cache data and ridding myself of crap-apps until I can figure out how to do it properly.

I have an older HTC Fuze. It's windows Mobile device and I do love it and refuse to have anything other than. No Android or Apple product here, but I still give major Kudos to Jobs! Job (pun intended) well done and RIP mister! Thanks for your contributions to our tech world moving so fast some of us can't keep up with the older devices such as my Fuze. It does everything I need one to do, but I would rather a larger screen as the number one requirement is the built in RDP access. As a network admin, no matter where I may be goofing off at, I MUST have connectivity to the remote locations I take care of.
Rob - Oh and if you need someone to handle your network as if it was my own, do let me know as I am good at what I do and very reasonable in my rates / monthly billing. :-)

Okay Mister / Missy WootBot,
Clearly the users posting here have made the very valid point that to see the real numbers, this poll needs to be redone with HTC as an option. Nearly all the user comments are HTC and the current 21.7 percent of someone else could very well be HTC. Granted, not all of the user comments are HTC, but HTC is ruling the comment section.

On another note for the webmaster, a like button very much like Facebooks would be nice as there were several comments worthy of liking.

Personally I am new to W00t, but I like it so far, so good job!
Rob

Screw smartphones! I love my Casio phone that's built to military specs to be shock, water and dust proof. Here's why:

Drop it off a two story building when you're high? No problem, it'll bounce, so keep on puffin. You drunkenly drop it into a pitcher of beer? Just shake it out and resume that drunk-dialing to your ex. Woke up to find yourself in the desert during a sandstorm? Good thing your phone works so you can call a friend to see TOTALLY SCARED OF THE DARK NOW happened!

Try that with your iNonsense.

Why no HTC??? They are one of the kings of the android market. I enjoy my phone after years of Blackberry. Blackberry's address book rules the world as does their security. But HTC does pretty much everything else better. Especially Internet. I wish Android had a phone book that worked well. So far anything I tried sucks in comparison.

I own a dumbphone, made by Samsung. I own one of 3 phones my service provider has not made disappear, it is smarter than the average plain phone. I have an unlimited data plan and am still able to tether my phone for internet access. My dumbphone is fast, small, has internet on it, and also keeps my bill cheap. I LOVE IT!
