I love this tent! Aside from having to set it up. But, after it is pitched, it's plenty roomy, and plenty dry.

It's HUGE. It says 6-7 people...which usually means 3 or 4. But this is a legit 6-7 normal-sized people. It was much bigger than what I needed when I bought it the last time around. It's a great price, just know it's a big ol' tent.

6 to 7? Yeah ok, but how often do you go camping with the Lollipop Guild?

Because zombies have trouble with zippers.

Woot is obviously located in a warm state.

Unlike the rest of America who are starting to slowly go into a deep freeze.

From my experience,a tent like this will keep other campers from seeing you and your girl getting naked, but it will not hide the noise of fun stuff as well as a trailer.

Carrollton, TX

Which is why I'm surprised we have kids.woot.com but not guns.woot.com. ;-) Also works with wine.woot.com but not beer.woot.com.

Perfect timing for the tent. Today in Austin it was 81'F, but when it drops we'll be looking at camping too.

Winter camping is great.

It's the 100' (or as I age: 90', 80', even 70') camping that isn't much fun anymore - even in a luxurious 6-7 person dome tent that offers "large mesh roof vents and windows for ample cross-ventilation" ;)

Good evening, All. 2 questions: What material is the tent made of? And is there any information re: its fire resistance? Thanks.

A GREAT WOOT! We bought this tent last time, Great Tent! We stayed in it for 8 days for 'Sukkot' the screen roof is awesome, but ended up putting the cover over it when it turned cool and then rained. Screens are very tight no mosquitoes or Noseeums.

That heat has gone to your brain. Woot was bought by Amazon.com some time ago, and moved to Seattle.

Currently 35 flippin' degrees, which is cold for here, because it isn't raining. Tomorrow it will rain again. Buy the tent.

How much does it weigh?

Fire resistance? There are some that are somewhat fire dormantant perhaps, but most tents will go up in flames rather quickly.

I would not recommend pitching a tent near an active volcano nor bringing anything like a gas/liquid fueled lamp inside a tent.

21 pounds. Bought it in the PW. Terrific for car camping with the kids. And some friends. Roomy plus some. Easily sleeps 7 normal sleeping bags. Not hard to set up. It has 2 doors that can be set to screen doors or completely closed (or open)! Screen roof! Screen windows! And an excellent shelf above your head where we stuck our battery powered lantern. Rain fly was also easy to use and sealed tightly, though it didn't rain when we were camping.

could NOT have been better timing for me, i was just at REI looking at "clearence" 4 person tents (that looked liked 3 person tents) for $150-200. the reviews on this are great so i could not be more happy. in for 1.

Better off skipping the polyester if it's cold and building yourself a quinzee. Easy (if not quick) to make, and with a halfway decent sleeping bag, you can stay warm enough* with just a small candle lit inside at night.

I've done this, on the middle of a lake, where the temp dropped below 0, and I wasn't the least bit uncomfortable.

* For reasonably tolerant people. This ain't the Ritz after all.

Ya, but who needs a tent for winter camping? Here in the mountains we just build snow caves.

Sorry, new items post at 12 Midnight, Central Time. You only get one of those a day, even when Daylight Saving Time begins and ends.

(I know, we east coast people think everything revolves around us... As it should!)

Just a question about the two rooms. Is there a way to get between the two rooms that is not from the front? (does it have a hallway between the two rooms?)

Bought this last woot. Took it to cub scout family camp. Plenty of room for Grandma, her walker, a chair for her and the double high mattress so we don’t have to get her off the ground. Plus the rest of us. It poured rain 6 AM Sunday, everything inside stayed dry, when outside low areas has 2 inches of water in the pools. Easy set up and take down even for the youngsters.
Only downside. No tent bag. It rolls up and has attached elastic bands to keep it rolled. Need a bag to protect the tent floor from getting ripped on other supplies, or storage, etc.
