That gives me an idea for a Christmas gift for my ex-boyfriend who can't seem to cut the cord (from me), this would be perfect.

I also bought one of these the last time it was available. I have not overslept once since. Just knowing that I have "the chase" the next morning usually gets me up around the time my alarm would normally go off.

If you buy clocky, just know this. You do not own clocky. Clocky owns YOU!!!

It is packaged in such a way that makes it easy for you to install batteries, and set the time before gifting. If you are so inclined.

Amazon has it in Almond or Pink for $7.51 and $7.01 respectively... $4.99 shipping. Not sure why those colors are so cheap.

Check out the reviews there. Some people have received knock-off "clocky's". So that may explain the uber cheap price.

I wonder if that could be done before mailing?

For those unfamiliar, it sounds like R2D2 on a drunken rampage, insulting your mother. You will not sleep through it.

The advantage of this over, say, an alarm clock across the room, is it can be next to your head when it goes off. Also, I've known people who can get up, shut off alarms, then go back to bed. I'm one of them. This one you have to hunt down and wake up enough to grab.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day..

If Joss Whedon and Steven Moffat wrote a story together, nobody would live to the end.

Clocky may not work if you
wake up --> chase the clock --> go back to bed

Wellll, alright. I have been putting up this purchase for quite some time. I can't wait to see how the cats react.
