Have we gotten so lazy as a country that we need voice controlled remote controls?

Pushing buttons is hard.

I cant even train my dogs, forget trying to train a remote!

Everyone needs one of these because we have become so lazy we can't even be bothered to push the buttons on the remote.

The one I got from before didn't have codes for my devices and it wouldn't learn from another remote properly

I wish I could buy a remote that would allow me to press a button to generate sounds that would control this remote.

So if you yell "DERP" into the remote, will it switch to Fox?

Considering new ones have made it to Woot, I'd say fired.

No, fortunately. No one NEEDS this, so stop overreacting. It's just another convenience. You don't have to criticize "the laziness of Americans".

Okay, NOW I can say something nice about a product.

This thing controls my T.V., my Roku, my surround sound system, my blu-ray, Netflix, Hulu Plus (although I'm rethinking that one) and stations from around the world. I no longer have multiple controllers. I just have the one, and I love it.

I'm not lazy, I just got tired of all the different remotes. This one rocks.

Thought about the millions of physically disabled folks for whom this product may be of some use? I didn't think so. They're probably just lazy.

Seriously - why so many negative comments?

How many people will want to change something about their home entertainment system but at the time have their hands full (food, grease, etc) and would rather not muck up the remote?

Maybe the napkin or towel (or rag) isn't convenient to grab and simply yelling out "MUTE!" or "OFF!" when the phone rings would be like magic?

I bought two! :-)

Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature!

Have we gotten so lazy as a country that we need to push buttons for televisions to entertain us?
